Overview
The Goldleaf Guildhouse is the headquarters of the Goldleaf Merchant Guild, the most powerful mercantile faction operating out of Hernand. Located south of Unicorn Cliff, the guildhouse functions as both an administrative center for guild operations and a large-scale trading post where players can buy and sell goods. The guild wields enormous economic and social influence over the City of Hernand, offering favorable trade rates while enforcing strict penalties for contract breaches.
The guildhouse is overseen by Shakatu, the Trademaster of the Goldleaf Merchant Guild and one of the most powerful figures in the Hernand economy. Inside the compound, the Goldleaf Merchant Guild Trading Center is managed by Ugmon, who handles all buying and selling transactions. Players must progress through the main quest to earn trading rights with the guildhouse before they can conduct business here.
Location
The Goldleaf Guildhouse sits south of Unicorn Cliff in the southeastern part of the Hernand region. It is east of the Goldleaf Tradepost and near Bloomwood Ranch. The Sanctum of Temperance can be found nearby to the south. An alternative trading venue is the Royal Trading Post, located north of Hernand Castle.
Trading
Trading at the Goldleaf Guildhouse differs from the automatic Royal Trading Posts found in major cities. To sell goods here, players must pack their items at camp, load them onto a wagon, and ride manually to the guildhouse. Speaking with Ugmon initiates the buying and selling interface.
The guildhouse requires a minimum quantity of 25 stacks for any purchase. Players can inspect the guildhouse on the map and select 'Trading Post' to view which goods are being bought and sold, along with the current value trend for each item. The general strategy is to sell when the price exceeds the market average and to buy when prices are below normal.
