Frostclaw Cave is a Waterside Cave hidden behind a waterfall in the western Hernand region of Crimson Desert. Tucked away between claw-like cliffs near the waterfall of Everfrost, this small cave is described as a place only the strong can reach. Despite its ominous reputation, Frostclaw Cave contains no enemies and serves purely as a loot location with several valuable rewards.
The cave's most notable treasure is the Plate Boots of the Shadows, a piece of the Shadow Armor set. Alongside the boots, explorers can find vendor collectibles worth a combined total of roughly 87 silver, a full health restoration consumable, and a heavy defensive headpiece. Frostclaw Cave is an excellent stop during early-to-mid game exploration of Hernand.
Frostclaw Cave is located in western Hernand, north of the Scholasta Institute. The nearest fast travel point is the Secluded Cabin, which sits to the northeast of the cave. From the Secluded Cabin, head southwest through rugged, downward-sloping terrain until you reach a large waterfall nestled between tall stone walls and rocky formations along the southwest river in Hernand.
On the world map, the cave sits beneath the "Hernand" label along the southwest river. Look for a waterfall flanked by claw-shaped rock formations. Stacked stones near the base of the waterfall serve as an indicator that a cave entrance lies behind it.
Like other waterside caves in Crimson Desert, Frostclaw Cave requires the Stab ability to enter. The Stab ability is unlocked by default for all three playable characters (Kliff, Damiane, and Oongka), so no ability unlocks or story progression are needed.
To enter the cave, follow these steps:
Travel to the waterfall in southwest Hernand (southwest of the Secluded Cabin).
Stand on the platform directly in front of the waterfall.
Activate the Stab ability (R1 + Triangle on PlayStation, RB + Y on Xbox) to pierce through the water barrier.
Proceed through the narrow passage behind the waterfall into the main chamber.
The passage behind the waterfall is linear and straightforward. There are no branching paths or hidden side rooms to worry about.

+10% Skill EXP Gain: accelerates skill leveling, making this a strong pick for players who want to unlock and upgrade abilities faster.

The Stab ability is available from the start of the game for all characters, so you can visit Frostclaw Cave as soon as you have access to western Hernand.
