Overview
The Ether Rest is an Abyss puzzle located in the Sleet Isles. It is the first puzzle in the frost chain, leading to Frostbitten Paradise and the Path of Trials.
Location
Sleet Isles of the Abyss. Accessible after completing the Spire of Ringing Truth challenge.
Required Skills
Axiom Force to operate dials and move the reactor cube
Nature's Grasp to reveal hidden mechanisms in the walls
Force Palm to activate the final Abyss Nexus
Step-by-Step Solution
Go to the center island and open the caged pillar by using Axiom Force on the yellow dial above. Use the vent gust to glide to the upper floor.
Use Nature's Grasp on the wall to reveal a hidden yellow dial. Then use Axiom Force on the dial to open the passage to the next room.
Find the opening above and fly up using the vent gusts. Locate the floating reactor cube in the upper area.
Return the reactor cube to the room at the top of the rotating pillar.
Climb to the top of the pillar using the spiral wires and use the wind gust to fly over to the next island.
Use Force Palm on the center of the wall to activate the Abyss Nexus and complete the puzzle.
Tips
The yellow dials are easy to miss. Look above and behind structures for them.
When carrying the reactor cube with Axiom Force, be careful not to fly too high or you may drop it.
