Return to Howling Hill's Dragon Totem shrine. Take the letter left at the shrine and read it to learn about Myurdin's whereabouts. This sets the course for the manor infiltration sequence.
Travel to Rustleleaf Farm, then infiltrate Azerian Manor by sneaking through the back window. Move through the manor while crouching to avoid detection. On the second floor, push the wooden-framed wall to reveal a secret room. Retrieve the Investigative Report inside.
Infiltrate Sungrove Manor, which is guarded more heavily than the previous location. Combat may be unavoidable inside. In the hallway lined with paintings and furniture, use a lantern to view Bastier Azerian's memory. Then proceed to the study and use the lantern again to view Beatrice Azerian's memory.
Infiltrate Windmere Manor. Unlike Sungrove Manor, there are no guards inside. On the second floor, find the small room in the middle of the hallway and assassinate Count Byron without alerting the exterior guards.
Report your findings to Colette Azerian at Azerian Manor. She provides the next objective and directs Kliff toward Thornbriar Fortress.
Speak with the barracks officer at Thornbriar Outpost. He briefs you on the siege plan and the enemy fortifications you will face.
Clear Thornbriar Fortress in a large-scale assault. Defeat the ground soldiers, destroy the Artillery Unit and three Siege Towers, and engage Fortain the Cursed Knight, who appears intermittently during the battle.
Fortain the Cursed Knight fights with a sword and shield, and periodically calls in soldier reinforcements. Focus on eliminating the weaker soldiers first to avoid being overwhelmed by multiple enemies. When Fortain raises his shield, use heavy attacks or powerful skills to break through his guard. The Shackle of Might weapon drops automatically after defeating him.
Navigate through the hostile corridors of Demeniss Castle to the Old Office. Read the Blood Coronation memory inside, then proceed to the Throne Room for the final confrontation.
Gabriel Caliburn is an agile opponent who favors fast, unpredictable attack patterns. Unlike Fortain, he does not rely on a shield. Wait for his attack sequences to finish before striking, and avoid overcommitting to long combos. His speed can punish greedy play, so short bursts of damage between dodges are the safest approach.
During the manor infiltration phases, crouching reduces detection range significantly. Use it whenever possible.
The Lantern is required for viewing memories at Sungrove Manor. Have it ready in your equipment.
At Windmere Manor, the assassination of Count Byron must be silent. If guards are alerted, the quest becomes considerably harder.
In the siege at Thornbriar Fortress, prioritize the Siege Towers to reduce incoming reinforcements.
Against Gabriel Caliburn, short attack combos followed by dodges are more effective than attempting long chains.
