Dandelion Longsword is a two-handed longsword in Crimson Desert. It is classified as a Legendary-grade weapon with a base Attack of 6.
As a two-handed weapon, this longsword requires both hands to wield, preventing the use of an off-hand item. Two-handed weapons compensate with higher damage output and wider attack arcs compared to their one-handed counterparts.

As a Legendary-grade weapon, Dandelion Longsword is a rare find. It may be obtained through boss drops, high-level quest rewards, treasure chests in dangerous areas, or specialized merchant inventories.
Enhanced versions of this weapon can be crafted at a workbench using the materials listed in the crafting recipe table above.
At maximum enhancement, Dandelion Longsword reaches an Attack value of 40, making it one of the stronger options in its category. Investing refinement materials early can pay dividends throughout the mid and late game.
As a Legendary-grade weapon, Dandelion Longsword is among the strongest in its class. It is worth investing refinement materials to push its base stats even higher, making it viable well into the endgame.
Two-handed blades deliver sweeping attacks with wide arcs. Position yourself to catch multiple enemies in a single swing. Use charged heavy attacks to break through enemy guards when they are blocking.
As a two-handed weapon, this longsword prevents the use of off-hand equipment. Consider your build and playstyle carefully when choosing between the higher damage of two-handed weapons and the versatility of one-handed options with shields or dual-wielding.

The recipe for Dandelion Longsword is not a random drop. It is taught by the Two-Handed Weapons of the World, Vol. IV knowledge book, which is stocked by the back-alley vendor in Muiquun that opens up after the Lawless Market quest chain is complete. The same vendor also sells Black Dye, so players who already unlocked the shop for the dye automatically have access to the Vol. IV book on their next visit.
Once the book is purchased, read it from the inventory to register the recipe. After that, any smithy in the world (including the one at Greymane Camp and the Hernand forge) will list the Dandelion Longsword under its craftable items, consuming the standard materials documented in the Crafting Recipe section above. This makes Dandelion Longsword one of the few high-tier two-handed swords that is reliably attainable without a boss drop or story gate.
Liberate Muiquun by completing the Raiders in Muiquun chain to clear the Mistcloaked Owls out of the settlement.
Trigger Lawless Market by eavesdropping on the conversation on the southeast side of the freed town.
Steal and deliver three wagons to the wagon fence operator to finish the quest.
Fast travel away and back so the back-alley vendor spawns on the east side of Muiquun.
Buy Two-Handed Weapons of the World, Vol. IV from the vendor's stock alongside the Black Dye bottle.
The Dandelion Longsword is the longest acquisition on the Hidden Weapons Guide. It is gated behind a multi-step quest chain involving a camp liberation, a tough boss fight, a trust-level grind, a hidden book purchase, and finally a smithy crafting unlock. Each step gates the next, so attempting to skip ahead does not work; the smithy will not surface the longsword on its menu until every preceding step is complete.
Travel to the Steel Mountains and find the Blood Steel Camp. The liberation has two parts:
Clear out every enemy in the camp.
Destroy the four buildings scattered around the camp. Buildings come down to heavy attacks.
A common pitfall: one of the four buildings is inside the boss arena. If the liberation progress meter stops advancing after destroying three, the missing fourth is inside the arena. Enter the arena to find and destroy it.
Inside the boss arena is a brutal fight. Early-game players are likely to struggle here, so come prepared:
Bring food. Stack the strongest healing food available before entering.
Use your best gear. This is not the fight to test a new weapon loadout. Bring whatever you already trust.
Be patient. The fight is tuned to be challenging; expect multiple attempts.
Once the camp is liberated, head to the vendor at the location near the camp. The book that unlocks the Dandelion Longsword crafting recipe is gated behind this vendor's trust level. The trust grind requires bringing the vendor 10 Thick Hide. Each thick hide delivery raises trust; ten hides max it out at 100.
Thick hides drop from large creatures throughout the area. If the inventory is short, farm them in the surrounding regions before returning to the vendor.
Once trust hits 100, a book unlocks in the vendor's inventory. Buy the book. Open it and read it; the reading animation takes about ten seconds and confirms the recipe knowledge has been added to the wielder's notebook.
Head to any smithy. Smithies are usually located right behind the equipment vendors that sell weapons in major settlements. Once the book has been read, the smithy now sells the Dandelion Longsword. The crafting cost is some iron and some copper; with materials in hand, the trade completes and the longsword joins inventory.
Easy to upgrade. Standard smithy refinement applies, so the longsword scales cleanly through enhancement levels.
Scales well into late game. Unlike some hidden weapons that are locked at their pickup tier, this one can be brought up to par with anything in the endgame.
Fits any build. As a two-handed longsword, it slots into any build that uses two-handers, which covers most of the playable characters' default loadouts.
Visual identity. Considered one of the best-looking longswords in the game; the trip is partly worth it for the cosmetic alone.
