Overview

The Blackwing Leather Gloves are a Gloves piece in Crimson Desert. Part of the Blackwing armor set, these gloves combine strong offensive stats with defensive utility. With 13 ATK, 3 DEF, Critical Rate Lv.2, Lightning Resistance Lv.1, and passive health regeneration at +0.2 HP per second, they are one of the most well-rounded glove options available in the early-to-mid game.

The gloves are found in a hidden treasure chest at the Sanctum of Penitence through a secret area accessed by breaking through a collapsing floor. Because this chest is easy to miss, many players walk through the sanctum without ever finding it.

Stats

The Critical Rate Lv.2 bonus is particularly notable. Most gloves in the game offer Lv.1 at best, making the Blackwing Leather Gloves one of the strongest crit-boosting armor pieces available. The passive health regeneration at +0.2 HP per second provides a slow but steady recovery during exploration, reducing reliance on consumables between fights.

Armor sets in Crimson Desert share a visual theme but do not currently provide set bonuses when multiple pieces are worn together. Each piece is refined and upgraded independently.

How to Obtain

The Blackwing Leather Gloves are found in a hidden treasure chest at the Sanctum of Penitence. The chest is located in a secret underground area that requires you to break through a weakened floor.

Step-by-Step Guide

1. Travel to the Sanctum of Penitence.

2. Inside the sanctum, proceed to the section with four small columns that look out towards the main puzzle mechanism.

3. Face towards the wall at the front of this section. The floor here is structurally weakened and will collapse when you stand on it.

4. Walk onto the weakened section and wait for the floor to collapse beneath Kliff's feet. You will fall through into a hidden underground chamber surrounded by stone pillars.

5. Open the treasure chest in the hidden room to claim the Blackwing Leather Gloves.

The collapse is scripted and will happen as soon as you stand on the correct spot. There are no enemies in the hidden room, so the chest is free to open. After collecting the gloves, you can climb back up using the surrounding pillars and ledges.

Tips

• The Crit Rate Lv.2 bonus stacks with crit bonuses from your weapon and other equipment. Pair these gloves with a weapon that already has Critical Rate for a very high combined crit chance.

• The Lightning Resistance Lv.1 matches the resistance provided by the Blackwing Leather Armor chest piece and the Blackwing Leather Boots. Wearing multiple Blackwing pieces stacks Lightning Resistance.

• The +0.2 HP/sec health regeneration is small but adds up during long exploration sessions. Over 5 minutes of exploring between combats, it restores 60 HP passively.

• If you visit the Sanctum of Penitence for the puzzle, look for the area with four small columns looking outward. The floor collapse is near the front wall and is easy to overlook.

• The hidden chamber is in the southern ruins area of the sanctum. Check this section before leaving to avoid having to return later.
