Overview
Stone Bullets are the baseline firearm ammunition in Windrose. They deal basic projectile damage with no bonus modifiers. Because the ingredients are common and the crafting station is early-game, Stone Bullets are the default pick during the Coastal Jungle phase before iron becomes available.

Swap to Iron Bullets once Copper and Iron mining are routine.
Stone Bullets are fine for Blunderbuss close-range pellet spreads, but Bone Shot is the specialist alternative.

Flavor Text
Per windrose-db, the Stone Bullet's flavor text reads: "A lump of stone that only just passes for a ball. You will only hit true at close range." This maps to the ballistics behavior players experience: Stone Bullets are noticeably less accurate than Iron Bullets at longer ranges, and the damage profile is biased toward short-range engagements.

When To Switch
Stone Bullets remain viable through the Coastal Jungle. Most players switch to Iron Bullets immediately once their first Foothills Iron Ingot is smelted, because the reported 25 percent projectile damage bonus outclasses the Stone baseline for almost every firearm. Keep a small Stone Bullet reserve for emergency farming when iron stocks run dry.
