Enchanting Table is a refining craft station in Windrose. It is the only station in the refining family whose job is to upgrade materials into their enchanted, end-tier forms rather than smelt or weave ordinary resources. Everything it makes carries the Arborum suffix, the highest gear tier currently in the build.

The Enchanting Table converts refined base materials into their enchanted Arborum equivalents. These enchanted materials are then used at the Weaponsmith Workshop and Armor and Clothing Workshop to build and finish the strongest weapons and armor in the game. Of the three outputs, Ingot Arborum is usually crafted first because it gates the top-tier weapons.
Output | Refines From | Feeds Into |
|---|---|---|
A refined ingot plus Essence Arborum | Top-tier weapons such as the Plagie Halberd and the Rapier of Devastation | |
Refined fabric plus Essence Arborum | Final upgrades on endgame cloth armor | |
Refined hide plus Essence Arborum | Endgame leather armor crafting |
Each enchant recipe consumes Essence Arborum as the magical reagent, so the table's throughput is limited by how much Essence you can supply rather than by the base materials.
The Enchanting Table is the only station in the refining family whose outputs are property upgrades rather than plain new materials. Build it indoors, under a roof, alongside the Weaponsmith Workshop and Armor and Clothing Workshop, so the whole endgame crafting loop sits in one sheltered, Bonfire-warmed room.
Build the Enchanting Table after both the Weaponsmith Workshop and Armor and Clothing Workshop are up. Most enchant chains key on a completed base item or refined material from those stations.
Mire Metal Ingot and Essence Arborum are the gating materials. Mire Metal Ingot is smelted from ancient iron in a Smelting Furnace, and Essence Arborum is produced from Plague Wood gathered in the Cursed Swamps, so prepare both before starting the build.
Essence Arborum is the real bottleneck. Producing it at scale wants a Large Smelting Furnace (20 Hewn Stone, 10 Foothills Iron Ingot, and 20 Clay to build) fed with Plague Wood, so set that pipeline up in parallel.
The roof requirement is strict. An open-air enchant setup will fail even when the Comfort bonus is satisfied from another fire source.
Craft Ingot Arborum first if you want a power spike, since it unlocks some of the strongest weapons in the build.
The Enchanting Table sits at the end of the crafting progression chain rather than being a standalone collectible. Use the recipe and output tables above to trace what unlocks it, what it consumes, and which linked upgrades or materials to prepare before crafting it. In short: refine your base ingots, fabrics, and hides first, stockpile Essence Arborum, then convert everything into Arborum-tier gear here.
