Capricorn Ring is a Rare ring in Windrose. It modifies crude damage (blunt) when worn in an accessory slot. It is the mid-tier ring in its line, carrying a stronger bonus than the Minor version and worth upgrading to once you have access to Sapphire.

Crude damage covers blunt-force attacks from weapons such as maces and clubs, plus unarmed strikes. Equip this alongside weapons whose base damage type is crude to maximise the percentage bonus.
Crude damage is the blunt-force damage type. It covers strikes from the Club and other mace-style weapons, along with unarmed attacks. The percentage bonus on this ring is multiplicative with your base weapon damage, so it scales best on a heavy hard-hitting Strength build rather than a fast bleed or precision build. Pair it with a Necklace of Vitality or another stat necklace, since the ring and necklace slots are independent.
Crafted at the Jewelery Table. The Jewelery Table is the accessory workbench in Windrose and must be placed indoors under a roof and within range of a Bonfire to function. Building it the first time requires Wood, Foothills Iron Ingot, and Silver Ingot.

Rings in the Capricorn Ring line share the same base effect; each tier increases the magnitude. The Capricorn Ring sits at the Rare tier. The full line:
Tier | Ring | Effect |
|---|---|---|
Uncommon | Increases Crude Damage by 6% | |
Rare | Capricorn Ring | Increases Crude Damage by 9% |
Epic | Increases Crude Damage by 12% |
Windrose characters have three accessory slots: one ring slot, one necklace slot, and one miscellaneous slot. Only one ring can be worn at a time, so pick the one whose bonus best matches your primary weapon or task.
When you have access to higher-tier materials, upgrade to the Major Capricorn Ring for a stronger bonus.
Any ring crafted at the Jewelery Table can be broken down at the Disassembly Table, returning a portion of its silver. If you swap to a different ring effect, disassembling the old one recovers some of the materials.
This ring radiates brute strength. It's so heavy it could serve as a knuckle-duster.

Accessories: full accessory-slot system (ring, necklace, miscellaneous).
Jewelery Table: the workbench used to craft rings and other jewelry.
Silver Ingot: crafting ingredient used by this ring.
Sapphire: crafting ingredient used by this ring.
Best on blunt or unarmed builds. If your main weapon does slashing or piercing damage, the Ring of Bravery (flat melee bonus) is usually the stronger pick.
The full line scales 6 percent, 9 percent, 12 percent across the Minor Capricorn Ring, Capricorn Ring, and Major Capricorn Ring. Ascend up the line at the Jewelery Table once you have spare Gold Ingot.
Ascending consumes the lower-tier ring, so do not disassemble a Minor Capricorn Ring you intend to upgrade. Disassembly at the Disassembly Table only returns Silver Ingot.
