How to unlock land expansion

You cannot buy more land until you unlock the Buy Land app on your phone. The app appears automatically when you complete the fifth set of tasks on the Island Life app, called Junior Talent. To reach that milestone, you need to:

1. Reach Junior level in any profession (Farming, Ranching, Crafting, Fishing, or Exploration).

2. Accept and complete five requests from the town's Bulletin Board.

3. Complete the four sets of Island Life tasks that come before Junior Talent.

Once you finish those tasks and claim the rewards in Island Life, the Buy Land app adds itself to your phone.

How to reach Junior level in a profession

Continue the questline for whichever profession you pick and register each new level with both Solara and your mentor. If you do not have an active quest for the profession you want to level, check with the mentor directly. The mentors are:

• Graminova for Farming (usually tending the farm behind the Happiness Seed Shop).

• Pastelle for Ranching (usually roaming around Green Pasture Ranch).

• Zerine for Crafting (usually in the General Store).

• Delphin for Fishing (usually inside the AquaBlue Outpost).

• Zephyria for Exploration (usually near the Exploration Club).

If you cannot find your mentor, open the map and look at the four icons on the left side of the screen. The graduation-cap icon lists all mentors. Select a portrait to track them.

Expansion costs

The price of each expansion goes up steeply after the first one. You can expand Hopeland (your starter home area) up to eight times.

• First expansion: 2,000 Coins.

• Second expansion: 15,000 Coins.

• Third expansion: 30,000 Coins.

• Fourth expansion onwards: Not yet confirmed.

Additional land plots

Beyond the eight Hopeland expansions, there are three additional plots of land elsewhere on Starsand Island. They come later in the game and have their own unlock requirements separate from the Buy Land app.
