The island does not appear labeled on the map, but you can reach it by swimming eastward from the tip of the cape. Look for the island outline from the lighthouse vantage point, then swim directly toward it. The island contains gathering nodes and may have a treasure chest or collectible depending on your exploration progress.
Swimming drains stamina, so bring food that restores stamina before attempting the crossing. If you run out of stamina in the water, you will pass out and wake up at home the next morning with reduced energy.
Crane Cape has fixed and random treasure chest spawns. The fixed chest at the end of the pier is always there on a first visit. Additional chests may appear as random spawns or through treasure maps that point to this area. Treasure map chests in Crane Cape can contain crafting materials, cooking ingredients, or furniture blueprints.
The cape has standard surface resources: wood from trees, stone from rocks, and seasonal foraging items. The coastal location means you can find shells and beach-specific items along the shore. There are no mining nodes here; for ores, head into the Moonlit Forest instead.
Crane Cape is accessible on foot from Starsand Town by heading east. The walking distance is moderate. For faster travel, use a vehicle or check if there is a nearby bus stop or teleporter you have unlocked. The cape is one of the quieter regions of the island, making it a nice spot for screenshots with the lighthouse and ocean backdrop.
