The first closed beta for Rewinding Cadence, internally referred to as the Crimson Test (首测), ran in mainland China for sixteen days, from March 30 to April 14, 2026. It was a PC-only test limited to a Chinese-region build, and pre-registration on the Chinese-region storefronts was a prerequisite for selection.

What Was Playable
The Crimson Test was scoped as a content test of the early loops rather than a full preview of the final game. Beta builds typically include the opening cycle introduction, the first round of dice-gated dialogue gates, several boss encounters, and one or more representative regions of the open world. Public material from the test was limited by the NDA, so the wiki does not catalog beta-only encounters, NPCs, or story beats that have not been confirmed by an official trailer or post-test publication.
System Requirements

The closed-beta system requirements were build-specific and not the final-release minimum spec. They are useful as a rough indicator of where the live game might land but should not be cited as authoritative for hardware buying decisions. Final-release minimum and recommended specs will be added to this article when the developer publishes them.
Sign-up Walkthrough
Pre-registration ran on the Chinese-region pages of the Tencent-friendly mobile storefronts and the BiliGame portal in the weeks leading up to the test. Selection was not first-come-first-served. The dev team reviewed registrations and notified accepted testers a few days before launch with a download link and an NDA. Players outside mainland China were not eligible to register, and emulator-based access was not officially supported.
Future Tests
Additional closed and open beta phases are expected before the full release. A specific date for the next test, including any global beta or English-language test, has not been announced publicly. Watch the official channels listed in the Saroasis Studios article for confirmed announcements; the wiki will mirror those as they land.
