Overview

Generation 2 (Johto) contributes 38 Pokemon to Pokopia's roster. This generation adds several popular evolution lines, including the Cyndaquil starter line, the powerful Tyranitar family, and fan favorites like Scizor and Heracross. Gen 2 also includes baby Pokemon like Pichu, Cleffa, and Igglybuff, as well as the Dark-type Eeveelutions Espeon and Umbreon (found in Palette Town). Many Gen 2 Pokemon are evolutions or pre-evolutions of Gen 1 Pokemon, expanding existing families.

Cyndaquil Starter Line

Cyndaquil is the only Johto starter represented in Pokopia. It evolves into Quilava and is found in the Concrete Pipe Secret Base habitat. Both have the Burn specialty, making them useful for powering furnaces and cooking.

The Tyranitar Family

Tyranitar and its pre-evolutions (Larvitar and Pupitar) bring Rock/Dark and Ground/Rock typing to the game. The entire line carries the Crush and Bulldoze specialties, making them excellent for terrain clearing and rock-breaking tasks.

Tips

The Mareep line (Mareep, Flaaffy, Ampharos) offers both Litter and Generate specialties, making them dual-purpose Pokemon for electricity and seed spreading.
Scizor and Heracross share Tree-Shaded Tall Grass habitats. Building one habitat in this style can attract both.
Hoothoot and Noctowl have the Fly and Trade specialty combination, making them versatile additions that double as shopkeepers and fast-travel helpers.
Espeon and Umbreon are exclusive to Palette Town. Espeon requires the Elegant Daytime Treats habitat and Umbreon requires Dark-Chocolate Cookies.
