Collect is a rare Pokemon Specialty in Pokemon Pokopia. Pokemon with the Collect specialty exchange lost relics or rare feathers (Rainbow Feather, Silver Feather) for other items, similar to how Trade-specialty Pokemon exchange materials. Collect is exclusive to the Gimmighoul line.

Gimmighoul (Chest Form)
The Collect specialty becomes available after befriending Gimmighoul in the abandoned museum at Rocky Ridges, then completing the request Show Off a Rainbow Feather. Until that request is finished, Gimmighoul will not accept any items.
Step-by-step:
Reach Rocky Ridges, the third story region, by progressing the main quest.
Locate the pile of Volcanic Ash blocks to the right of the Rocky Ridges Pokemon Center.
Use Rock Smash to break through the Volcanic Ash blocks. Hitmonchan is the Pokemon that teaches Rock Smash.
Follow the path into the hidden museum area. Use Water Gun on magma along the way to create permanent stone paths.
Interact with the red treasure chest on the podium to meet Gimmighoul (Chest Form).
Accept the request Show Off a Rainbow Feather. Wait for Ho-Oh's flyover, listen for its cry, and use Water Gun to extinguish the burning Rainbow Feather so you can pick it up.
Return the Rainbow Feather to Gimmighoul. Trading is unlocked from that point on.
After unlocking, the following items can be exchanged with Collect-specialty Pokemon. All four items draw from the same shared reward pool, so the only thing your offering changes is which item you spend, not what you receive.

Important: Lost Relics must be appraised by Professor Tangrowth before Gimmighoul or Gholdengo will accept them. Tangrowth wanders near the Pokemon Center in every area, so appraising is quick if you set him as a follower.

Both Pokemon share the same trade pool. Building both habitats doubles the convenience but does not unlock any extra rewards.
All Collect trades draw from a single shared reward pool. The reward is always one random furniture item, regardless of which item you offered. There is no way to target a specific piece. The pool spans several style categories:

Trades are random, so the most efficient approach is to batch items and trade in bulk. Specific strategies that pay off:
Reserve feathers for the bells first. Five Rainbow Feathers craft the Clear Bell needed to summon Ho-Oh, and five Silver Feathers craft the Tidal Bell needed to summon Lugia. Trade only the surplus.
Use Mosslax buffs. Feed Mosslax Dry food daily to increase Rainbow and Silver Feather drop rates. Feed Mosslax Sweet food during dedicated relic runs to boost Ancient Artifacts finds in glowing blocks.
Set a Search-specialty follower. Pidgey, Paras, Venonat, and other Search Specialty Pokemon expose hidden glowing blocks via the Dowsing Machine.
Appraise constantly. Set Professor Tangrowth as a follower so every relic can be appraised on the spot. Unappraised relics cannot be traded.
Visit Dream Islands. Dream Islands via Drifloon expose extra glowing block spawns and additional relic chances per day.
Trade in batches, not one at a time. There is no daily trade limit, so making one visit with ten or more items is far more efficient than ten visits with one item.
Collect resembles Trade Specialty because both run barter shops, but the systems differ in three important ways:

Because Collect rewards are random and exclusive, treat Collect as a long-tail completionist activity rather than a reliable supplier of any single item.
Stockpile rare feathers from legendary bird sightings before visiting a Collect Pokemon. The trade rates favor batches.
Gimmighoul (Chest Form) is the easier of the two to befriend. Gholdengo unlocks later in the game.
Collect-specialty trades are often the only way to obtain certain rare items, so prioritize befriending at least one of these Pokemon for completionist runs.
