Initial Audrey Hall reference covering background, Spectator Pathway, and aristocratic context
Audrey Hall (奥黛丽·霍尔) is one of the principal NPCs in Lord of Mysteries' campaign and a long-running pillar of the source material. She is a Spectator Pathway Beyonder, codenamed Justice (the Tarot Club's Justice card), and the daughter of Earl Hall, one of the Loen Kingdom's senior aristocrats. Her appearances in-game cluster around Backlund's upper-class districts and the Tarot Club ritual structure.
Audrey Hall is a young woman from the highest tier of Loen aristocracy. She joined the Tarot Club in the early days of its formation, when she stumbled into a fragment of the Gray Fog while attempting a chant in front of an antique bronze mirror gifted by her father. The mirror's resonance let Klein Moretti pull her through the Gray Fog into the Sefirah Castle alongside Alger Wilson, and the three became the Tarot Club's founding triad.
Audrey is a Spectator Pathway Beyonder. Her starting Sequence in the source material is Sequence 9 Spectator; by the time the player meets her in-game she has advanced further along the Pathway toward Sequence 7 Psychiatrist or beyond, depending on the story beat. Her in-game abilities lean on telepathy, hypnosis, dream control, and crowd-manipulation, all of which align with the Spectator's combat identity (see Combat System).
Her Tarot Club codename is Justice, after the major arcana of the same name. Within the Tarot Club ritual she sits at the Justice seat and contributes Spectator-Pathway divinations and dream-reading to the gathering.
Audrey appears in-game in three modes. As a story NPC she introduces the player to the Backlund aristocratic side of Beyonder society, opens dialogue lines for Divination Club formation, and offers Spectator-Pathway specific side quests. As a Mr. Fool ritual cameo she appears alongside Klein Moretti in Tarot Club gathering scenes. As a faction-quest contact she provides Spectator-Pathway players with a ladder of mentor encounters that boost Acting meters and unlock pathway-specific cosmetics.
Audrey is voiced in the game's Mandarin track and the upcoming global localisation tracks. Her character-creator presence is a celebrated easter egg: a player who names their character Audrey Hall during Character Creation receives a special introductory cutscene that nods to the coincidence. The player remains their own original Beyonder; Audrey remains her own NPC.
Audrey's aristocratic background is mechanically meaningful. The Hall family's town house in Backlund's Empress Borough is a story setpiece, the family's standing opens doors that mid-class characters cannot, and her connections through the season's aristocratic balls open quest lines that lower-class characters access through different routes. The game treats Loen society's class structure as an active gameplay variable; meeting Audrey is one of the clearest illustrations of that texture.
