Major expansion: added homework mechanics, graduation timeline, withdrawal details, career impact clarification, class schedule details, enrollment step-by-step
University is an optional education system in inZOI available to Young Adult Zois. Unlike elementary and high school (which are mandatory for younger Zois), university enrollment is entirely the player's choice. There are 3 degree programs across 2 campus locations. University takes approximately 7-10 in-game days to complete and provides a diploma on the Zoi's profile upon graduation. Enrollment is instant with no admission requirements or tuition fees.

Both campuses offer the same three degree programs. Choose based on which city your Zoi lives in for shorter commute times.
Ensure your Zoi is in the Young Adult life stage
Open the smartphone by pressing P or tapping the purple phone icon
Navigate to the School app
Select a campus and degree program
Enrollment is instant — no entrance exam, GPA requirement, or tuition
Important: Zois cannot hold a job while enrolled in university. If your Zoi has a career, they must quit before enrolling. Plan accordingly — the 7-10 day commitment means lost income during that period.

Classes run 3 days per week, from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM
University operates as a rabbit hole — your Zoi goes to campus and you have limited direct control during class hours
You can click on the Zoi in the sidebar during class to choose specific activities (study, socialize, etc.)
On non-class days, the Zoi is free to pursue other activities
Homework is the primary factor in academic success:
At the end of each university day, your Zoi receives 2 homework tasks with tight deadlines (only a few in-game hours)
Your household needs books and a computer to complete homework assignments
Select the correct book or appropriate homework option on the computer to fulfill each task
Completing homework on time improves academic performance
Missing homework or skipping classes results in performance penalties that can delay graduation
Monitor university progress through the School tab on the smartphone:
University location: Which campus your Zoi attends
Schedule: Upcoming class days and times
Academic level: Current standing and progress toward graduation
Attendance: Number of classes attended vs. missed
Absences: Track how many classes have been skipped
Graduation occurs when either of these conditions is met:
Your Zoi has attended at least 6 class sessions (approximately 7-10 in-game days depending on schedule)
Your Zoi ages up from Young Adult to Adult — this triggers automatic graduation regardless of attendance
Upon graduation, the Zoi's profile is updated to show a university diploma with their degree. A graduation event may occur on campus.

Go to My Information
Click the "Drop Out" button
Warning: Dropping out resets the Zoi's academic level entirely. All progress toward graduation is lost. If you re-enroll later, you start from scratch.
In the current Early Access build:
Graduating updates the Zoi's profile to show a university diploma
No career paths currently require a university degree
Degrees do not unlock specific jobs or promotions yet
The skills gained during university (through aligned coursework) are the primary practical benefit
Career impact of degrees may be expanded in future updates
The main practical value of university is the skill experience gained through coursework aligned with your chosen degree, plus the diploma for your Zoi's profile.
Ensure your household has a computer and bookshelf before enrolling — homework requires both
Complete homework immediately when assigned. The deadlines are tight and missed homework hurts your standing
Choose a degree that aligns with your Zoi's existing skills for faster leveling
Plan for 7-10 days without income — save money or have another household member working
The automatic graduation on aging up means you can enroll late in the Young Adult stage and still graduate
Dropping out is permanent — only do it if you are certain. Re-enrolling starts completely over
University is entirely optional. If your Zoi already has strong skills from practice, the diploma may not be worth the time investment
