Flea markets are community gathering spots in inZOI where Zois can buy and sell secondhand goods. These open-air markets appear in several locations across Dowon and Bliss Bay, staffed by NPC vendors who display a rotating selection of items. Beyond browsing public markets, players can set up their own flea market stall at home and sell items to visiting Zois during Social Events. Selling at the flea market is one of several ways to earn Meow alongside employment, the Pocket Market app, and other income methods.
Three public flea market sites are spread across the game's cities. Markets open at 9:00 AM each in-game day, though vendors typically finish setting up around 9:10 AM.
Location | City | Details |
|---|---|---|
The largest flea market. Multiple stalls near the giant cat statue and food vendors. Easy to find. | ||
Central Park Fountain | Smaller market with around four stalls near the northern fountain, underneath an overpass bridge. | |
Liberty Square | A single stall on the eastern side of the square. Look for red balloons and the Cobas food truck. |
Public flea markets are not marked on the city map, so finding them requires some exploration. If your Zoi has the "Wants to Take a Look at the Flea Market" urge, visiting any of these locations will satisfy it.
When you click on a public flea market stall, two interactions are available:
Ask About Product: The vendor describes the item on display. This is informational only.
Browse with Someone You Love in Mind: Your Zoi looks for a potential gift for a friend or romantic partner.
Direct purchasing from public stalls is limited during Early Access. The developers may expand vendor interactions in future updates.
Players can sell items they no longer need using the Sell Secondhand option. Click on any small, portable item in your Zoi's possession, select Sell Secondhand, and set a price. The item becomes available for other Zois to purchase. You can cancel the listing at any time.
Items that qualify for secondhand sales include postcards, books, dolls, small decorations, gifts received from other Zois, vegetables from gardening, and foraged items. Artwork and skill-based creations sell better through the Pocket Market app, while large furniture cannot be sold secondhand.
For a more structured selling experience, purchase a Flea Market Stand through Build Mode for 270 Meow. The stand is found under Furniture > Social Event in the building catalog. Place it in a spacious area of your home lot.
Enter Build Mode and place the Flea Market Stand.
Host a Social Event to activate the stand.
Interact with the stand and select Place Items for Sale.
Choose items from your inventory and set individual prices.
Select Start Selling to open the stall to visitors.
The stand only operates during Social Events. Outside of events, your Zoi can examine the stand but not use it for sales.
Start with moderate prices close to the item's base value. Overpricing causes NPC Zois to boo and walk away.
Watch NPC reactions. If items sell instantly, you can raise prices slightly.
Higher skill levels produce higher-quality items that sell for more. Level up Gardening for better crop and bonsai prices.
Greeting customers while running a stall improves their satisfaction and purchase likelihood.
Keep an eye on your stall for thieves during busy events. Confronting them recovers lost Meow.
The Nuri Plaza flea market in Dowon is the largest and easiest to find. Head for the giant cat statue.
Liberty Square's stall in Bliss Bay is easy to miss. Look for red balloons and the Cobas food truck on the east side.
Place your home stall in an accessible area. NPCs who cannot reach it will not browse.
For instant cash, use the Pocket Market instead. Flea markets let you set your own prices for potentially higher returns.
Bonsai trees grown through advanced Gardening sell for strong profits at the flea market.
