overview

Build Studio is a creative sandbox separate from Build Mode. There are no restrictions on furniture or preset budgets -- every material is available to use freely. It exists purely for construction, from complex multi-story structures to detailed interior designs.

camera controls

• Move: mouse drag or [W][A][S][D]

• Up/down: [Q]/[E]

• Rotate view: right-click drag

• Floor navigation: [Page Up]/[Page Down]

• Wall visibility: [Home]/[End] to cycle between invisible, exterior only, or all walls

building tools

The left panel lists structures and furniture with search. The top menu has floor navigation, grid toggle, snap options, room selection, and lot/house movement tools. Building Presets in the Architecture Presets tab provide starting templates.

customizing furniture

Click placed furniture to open editing options. The Edit Colors and Materials button applies textures, including the AI Texture feature. The 3D Printer converts images into furniture, and the Furniture Creation tool combines parts for custom designs.

mannequins

Mannequins are found in the Furniture tab under Miscellaneous. They can be posed and dressed but cannot be saved or uploaded to Canvas.

uploading

Save your creation as a Lot Preset or Room Preset, then upload to Canvas. Mannequins, lighting, and studio special effects are stripped from uploads.
