Added his two War Arc battles in Part II; corrected growth-value wording and updated unknowns
Lind is a boss in Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave. He is one of the risen dead and a servant of Balor, posted to the Alcineus Span with orders that nobody crosses it. He is fought during the second prologue, in the ruined present of 1454, and again in two battles of the War Arc in Part II.

Before he died, Lind was known as the Lord of Impalement. Hong Hua, who knew him then, measures what is left of him against what he used to be: he was a terror while alive, she says, but at least he had charisma. The line she actually lands on is blunter. "From Lord of Impalement to undead watchdog... How the mighty have fallen."
Lind is contemptuous, and most of what has been published about him is aimed at Hong Hua. He is disgusted by how quickly she took up with someone else after Raksha turned her out, calling her a stray dog that follows whoever feeds it, and he dismisses her replies rather than answering them.
He also frames killing as a favour, which is the closest thing he has to a philosophy.
But do not fear... Death is liberation
Prologue 2 is the point where the game shows the player what 1454 looks like, and its bosses are corrupted versions of the four Heroes plus Lind. He is listed in the High Savant class, which puts him on the magic side of the field rather than the front line, and his fixed post is the Alcineus Span. His orders are stated on screen: "By order of my lord Balor, no one can pass here."
Lind returns in Part II. In Chapter 2, Showdown at Agris Stronghold, the battle Taking Agris Stronghold is won by defeating Lind and Ianuarius together. In Chapter 4, The Storming of Dagsion, he is the sole target of The Battle of Alcineus Span, on the bridge he guards in the Prologue: he hides behind war elephants at the top of the bridge while reinforcements arrive from behind and Dragoons appear from the sides of the map.

As of September 2026, no official profile gives him a Japanese name and neither voice credit has been announced. This wiki has not yet documented how he died, when he was raised, or whether the Lord of Impalement was a rank, an office or a nickname. No stats or growth values have been collected for him here, as for every unit in this game.
The god he serves is covered on Balor, and the two prologues that precede the four campaigns are described on Routes and Story and Plot Structure. Hong Hua, the one character shown speaking to him, has her own page at Hong Hua.
