Lind is a boss in Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave. He is one of the risen dead and a servant of Balor, posted to the Alcineus Span with orders that nobody crosses it. He is fought during the second prologue, in the ruined present of 1454.

Biography

Before he died, Lind was known as the Lord of Impalement. Hong Hua, who knew him then, measures what is left of him against what he used to be: he was a terror while alive, she says, but at least he had charisma. The line she actually lands on is blunter. "From Lord of Impalement to undead watchdog... How the mighty have fallen."

Personality

Lind is contemptuous, and most of what has been published about him is aimed at Hong Hua. He is disgusted by how quickly she took up with someone else after Raksha turned her out, calling her a stray dog that follows whoever feeds it, and he dismisses her replies rather than answering them.

He also frames killing as a favour, which is the closest thing he has to a philosophy.

Role in Battle

Prologue 2 is the point where the game shows the player what 1454 looks like, and its bosses are corrupted versions of the four Heroes plus Lind. He is listed in the High Savant class, which puts him on the magic side of the field rather than the front line, and his fixed post is the Alcineus Span. His orders are stated on screen: "By order of my lord Balor, no one can pass here."

What Is Not Known

As of September 2026, no official profile gives him a Japanese name and neither voice credit has been announced. Nothing on those surfaces says how he died, when he was raised, or whether the Lord of Impalement was a rank, an office or a nickname. No stats or growth rates exist for him, as for every unit in this game.
