The Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave Expansion Pass is paid downloadable content for the game on Nintendo Switch 2. It was announced and released on the same day, October 15, 2026 (the evening of October 14 in the Americas), and delivers its content in three waves: the first was available at release, the second is due in holiday 2026, and the third in 2027.

Field | Detail |
|---|---|
Price | $34.99 in the United States; ¥4,400 in Japan |
Bundle | Base game plus Expansion Pass: $104.99 in the United States |
Released | October 15, 2026, with Wave 1 available the same day |
Waves | Three, delivered over time and covered by a single purchase; the waves are not sold separately |
Requires | The base game. The Ver. 1.1.0 update adds Expansion Pass support |
Platform | Nintendo Switch 2 |
Wave 1 adds four prototype weapons, one for each Hero's route. Nintendo describes them as modeled after the Heroes' Relics from Fire Emblem: Three Houses, and each one resembles a specific relic from that game. They are this game's own items with their own names, and this wiki takes no stats or lore for them from the earlier game.
Weapon | Type | Route | Modeled On |
|---|---|---|---|
Prototype No. 1 | Sword | Sword of the Creator | |
Prototype No. 7 | Spear | Areadbhar | |
Prototype No. 11 | Bow | Failnaught | |
Prototype No. 5 | Axe | Aymr |
Each weapon can be obtained in either of two places:
Part 1: complete a subquest accepted from the information board in Dagsion, available on each Hero's route from Chapter 4 onward.
Part 3: collect the weapons in Dagsion during free time. Which ones are available depends on the routes already cleared.
All four prototypes have current base stats, E-rank requirements, granted Arts and refinement information in the Swords, Spears, Axes and Bows references. Their limited durability makes their weapon-bound Arts and upgrade costs part of the equipment plan.
Wave 2 is scheduled for holiday 2026. It lets three gods who rule over Dagda join the army as allies in Part 3, in the fight against Balor.
God | Title |
|---|---|
Goddess of Stars and Navigation | |
God of Magic | |
Goddess of Fertility |
The three do not grow stronger through level ups, but they start with great power. The conditions for recruiting them will be announced later; as of October 18, 2026 they had not been published.
Wave 2 also adds four outfits that change a character's appearance both in battle and while exploring. They are obtained on each Hero's route in Part 1 once Dagsion can be explored, or in Dagsion during free time in Part 3, again depending on the routes cleared. Once unlocked, an outfit can be worn by any character, not only those of the route it came from. English names for the four outfits had not been published as of October 18, 2026.
Wave 3 is planned for 2027. It adds new stories featuring Bertrand, Talimun, Orchel and Anatolia, along with new units to recruit and new classes. No further detail had been published as of October 18, 2026.
The Ver. 1.1.0 update arrived alongside the pass on October 14 or 15, 2026, depending on region. It adds support for the Expansion Pass and a DLC link on the title screen that opens the Nintendo eShop. As of October 18, 2026 it is the current version of the game.
An announcement trailer accompanied the release. It runs 2:22 in the English and European cuts and 2:26 in the Japanese cut.
In Part I, accept the relevant Dagsion information-board request from Chapter 4 onward. Each delivery gives that route's prototype and 1 Agarthium. Part III availability depends on the corresponding route having been completed. The prototype names belong to this game, and their stats should be taken from its own equipment tables.

Wave 2 remains planned for holiday 2026 and Wave 3 for 2027. The planned gods, outfits, stories, allies and classes should be kept separate from current base-game recruitments. No exact later-wave dates or additional unannounced features are assumed.
