Drake's Treasures

Initial version (2026-09-16)
Drake's Treasures are the cursed objects that carry Blaze Arts in Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave. Each of the four Heroes holds one, and it is the object rather than the character that the arts hang off. They are also the clearest published link between the Curse value on the Weapons stat table and the gauge those arts fill.
Hero | Treasure | What Is Published |
|---|---|---|
A gem set into his hand | Carries his Underworld arts: Underworld Burst, Blackfire and Underworld Inferno, all of which deal in dark flame. | |
An ink black cape | Carries Moving Shadow, which warps him up to three tiles through obstacles, along with Stifling Shadow and Umbra Calamity. | |
The arm of Mahadu | Carries Earthen Hurl, which tears a chunk of rock out of the ground and throws it up to five tiles, using power she describes as inherited. | |
A cursed vihuela named Obsidian | Carries her Songs, among them Song of Beasts, which summons a demonic beast to fight for her. Her arts are obtained by completing quests rather than by levelling. |
The pairing with the Crest system is not decorative. The Crest of Gautier, the mark filed against the god of the underworld and of curses, has been observed next to three cursed objects in particular: Cai's hand gem, Theodora's arm and the merchant Talimun's cursed sword. That grouping rests on an uncited listing rather than on published data, and Crests records it as a pattern someone noticed rather than as a rule.
Using a cursed weapon or a cursed item raises the Blaze gauge, which is the mechanism that ties the Curse column on the weapon table to this system. The gauge grants a stat boost as it rises to about the halfway mark, and topping it out triggers a Burst that halves the unit's maximum HP for the rest of the battle. Leaning on a Treasure pays until it stops paying, which is the whole risk of the system.
Two named Blaze types change that rule rather than following it. On Celestial Wells, carried by Eshmel and Anatolia, ordinary attacks raise the gauge while cursed weapons and items lower it. On Automata, carried by Orchel, cursed gear does nothing to the meter at all and only spending a Blaze Art fills it.
Cursed objects are not limited to the four Heroes. Talimun carries the Long-Night Katara, a cursed sword with a published Curse value of 1 that grants the Siphon Luck combat art, and the sword Veroquine carries a Curse value of 2 and grants Prune. Neither has been described as a Drake’s Treasure. Whether the term covers every cursed object in the game or only the four the Heroes carry has not been stated.
As of September 2026 no Drake’s Treasure carries a published stat line of its own on any surface this wiki checks. What the Curse value does numerically has not been explained, and neither has how a Treasure is acquired, whether it can be set aside, or what becomes of a Hero’s arts without it.
Blaze Arts carries the full art lists and the gauge rules. Hero’s Relics covers the other class of legendary weapon in this game, a separate line tied to bloodlines rather than to curses, and Combat Arts covers the arts paid for in weapon durability instead.
