Aurora is the goddess of the stars and of navigation in the Dagdan pantheon, styled the Navigator's Clarion. She is the daughter of Solel and Yu Phas, which places her at the centre of the empire's ruling family and, unusually, at the centre of a marriage between the sun god of Dagda and a goddess most Dagdans fear. Her temple stands on Temple Row in Dagsion, and she is not allowed to leave it.

The Japanese name is アウロラ, and the English one comes from the Roman goddess of the dawn. Both readings sit oddly against a character who is kept indoors.
Under orders from her father, Aurora is forbidden from making contact with the outside world, and nobody is permitted to see her. The restriction is absolute in the way it is worded, and it is her father who set it, which makes the arrangement a family matter as much as a religious one. Preview coverage indicates that a party led by Cai nonetheless reaches her room, so the confinement is a situation the story works against rather than a fixed background detail.
Her stated likes give the confinement its shape. She likes her family, she likes hearing about what is happening outside, and she likes looking at the stars. Those are the interests of someone with a window and a locked door.
Aurora's Temple is one of the seven temples on Temple Row in the upper city, under the bronze statue of the Divine Sovereign. Volunteering at a temple earns a blessing to carry into battle, and the ones tied to Aurora are defensive. The reported effects run in three levels, taken from preview coverage rather than from a shipped menu, so treat them as provisional.

Two named characters serve at the temple. Ultand is a young priestess there who looks after Cai during the Heroic Games, and Centurio belongs to the Vulcans, the elite unit drawn from the priesthood, stationed at the same temple.
