Honeyzabeth's Hivetrunk

Honeyzabeth's Hivetrunk is a boss-arena instance in the Valley of Eternal Autumn, tuned for level 19 and held by what is left of the old Apix court. It sits in the Nescent area of the valley, where the Hivetrunk is one of the named landmarks.

It is a court in exile. Toppled by her own daughter, Cleodora relocated here with her most loyal followers, and without Luon she failed to grow a Hivetree worthy of her former glory. The tree you fight through is the diminished version, not the towering one the clan still holds back on Skover Island.

The Run

The Hivetrunk runs for parties of one to four players and follows the standard loot rule, so every member of the group leaves with at least one piece of gear. See Dungeons and Instances for the full system.

The queen brings her court onto the field. Her three royal champions fight alongside her, a chrysalid produces replacements, and worker bees keep the hive running through the encounter.

The instance is tuned to level 19 while the queen herself sits at level 20, which is why she reads as a level 20 encounter on her own page and the lair reads as level 19 here. Both figures are correct.

Rewards

Honeyzabeth's signature rewards are the great mace Pocket Hive, the dual swords Wingsabers, and the Ponogian Leggybug mount, with the rarer Zerzurean Leggybug below them.

The table is otherwise identical in shape to Lady Bee's Palace, down to the Apix materials Diaphanous Wings, Glossy Chitin, Honey and Royal Jelly and the Mote of Mely at the bottom. Mother and daughter award the same kinds of loot; only the signature weapons and the signature mount tell the two fights apart. Instance Details
