Press △ + ○ after initiating a Grappling attack to toss the grabbed enemy across the battlefield. The thrown enemy travels a significant distance and takes damage on landing. If the thrown enemy collides with other enemies, they also take impact damage, making Throw an effective crowd control tool in group fights.
Throw is one of Oongka's auto-unlocked grappling abilities. It requires no Abyss Artifacts to learn and is available as soon as Oongka becomes playable in Chapter VII. Despite being a starter skill, it remains useful throughout the game for repositioning enemies and dealing with crowds.
Use Throw to launch enemies off ledges or into environmental hazards for additional damage or instant kills.
Thrown enemies can collide with other enemies, dealing impact damage to both. Position yourself so the throw trajectory hits clusters of enemies.
Throw is a quick grapple follow-up that costs less Stamina than Lariat (40 vs 60), making it a more Stamina-efficient option when you need to conserve resources.
Chain Grappling into Throw as a basic combo opener, then follow up with Slash or Quaking Fury on the remaining enemies.
Against humanoid enemies, Oongka's grapple moves deal significantly more damage than those of Kliff or Damiane due to his greater physical strength.
