Overview
Scissor Takedown is an Unarmed Combat skill in the Stamina Skill Tree, available to Kliff and Damiane. While crouching, you wrap your legs around an enemy and bring them to the ground. The technique trips enemies from a low stance, bypassing their guard entirely and leaving them vulnerable to follow-up attacks.
Scissor Takedown functions as a grapple initiation that locks an enemy into a takedown sequence. Because it bypasses blocking, it is one of the most reliable ways to ground humanoid enemies without spending additional resources.

Combat Tips
The crouching stance requirement means you need to crouch first, then activate the takedown. Practice the timing: crouch, then immediately press the attack input.
Scissor Takedown bypasses enemy guards entirely, making it invaluable against shielded or blocking enemies that resist normal attacks.
The takedown locks the enemy into a grounded sequence, dealing heavy damage. Follow up with ground attacks or reposition while they recover.
Scissor Takedown costs nothing to use, making it a reliable option when you want to conserve both Spirit and Stamina.
Combines well with Leg Sweep for a low-stance combat approach. Sweep first to create an opening, then follow with a Scissor Takedown on a nearby enemy.
In group fights, use Scissor Takedown to quickly remove a single threat. The grounded enemy stays down long enough for you to deal with their allies.
Unarmed combat requires sheathing your weapon first. Quick-swap between armed and unarmed stances mid-fight to mix melee weapon combos with unarmed takedowns.
