Combat Overview
Crossbows trade rate of fire for higher per-bolt damage compared to bows. Make each shot count by aiming for weak points.
The mechanical firing mechanism makes crossbows more consistent than bows in terms of accuracy, especially for less experienced marksmen.
Crossbows are effective at medium range and perform well as an opening weapon before switching to melee for close combat.
