Overview
Nature's Veil is a Spirit Skill Tree ability exclusive to Kliff. During Nature's Snare, you briefly anchor the focused energy in its place for a moment. This creates a persistent barrier that remains active even after you stop channeling, giving you a window to reposition or attack while still being protected by the wind barrier.

How to Unlock
Upgrade Nature's Snare to Level 3 to unlock Nature's Veil. The full progression is:

Nature's Snare itself has steep prerequisites: Keen Senses Lv.3 and Focus Lv.2, plus 1 Abyss Artifact per level. Reaching Nature's Veil at Level 3 represents a significant investment of at least 7 total Abyss Artifacts across all prerequisite skills.
How It Works
Activate Focus mode (L3+R3 on controller), then rotate the right stick to channel Nature's Snare, creating a spinning wind barrier that blocks projectiles. With Nature's Veil unlocked, you can release the channeling and the barrier stays anchored at the position where you placed it for a brief duration.
This frees Kliff to move away from the barrier, attack enemies, or reposition while the anchored wind wall continues blocking incoming projectiles. The barrier does not last forever; it dissipates after a few seconds, so you need to act quickly once it is placed.
Combat Tips
Nature's Veil is extremely useful during boss fights with heavy ranged attack patterns. Place the barrier between yourself and the boss, then move to the side to attack while the barrier absorbs projectiles that would otherwise hit you.
Combine with Nature's Retribution for a flexible offense-defense loop: channel Nature's Snare to absorb projectiles, anchor the barrier with Nature's Veil, then release the stored energy with Nature's Retribution from a safe position.
The anchored barrier is especially useful against flying enemies that spam ranged attacks. Place the barrier, then switch to your bow or use Charged Shot to attack the flying target while the barrier covers you.
The Nature's Snare channeling cost is 2 Spirit per second, which is very affordable. The main cost of Nature's Veil is the Abyss Artifact investment to reach Level 3, not the per-use Spirit drain.
