Minigame Challenges test your skill at the various competitive activities found across Crimson Desert. The Minigame category contains multiple subcategories including Duel, Test of Strength, and Mind Games challenges. Unlike most other challenges, Minigame Challenges are typically unlocked by interacting with the minigame location for the first time rather than by finding a Sealed Abyss Artifact. Completing all Minigame Challenges unlocks the True Gamer trophy and achievement.

The Mind Games Challenges involve card games and other strategic competitions found at taverns and social spaces. These include games like Duo (a card game similar to traditional Korean Seotda), Five-Card, and Thrones.
Duo: A two-card game played at taverns. Players bet money and try to form the highest-scoring hand. The game follows traditional Seotda scoring rules.
Five-Card: A variation of Duo played with five cards instead of two. Higher stakes and more complex hand evaluation.
Thrones: A strategic board game. Winning 3 consecutive matches is required for the Challenges and Changes category.
Several competitive events in the game also tie into the broader challenge system, though they may count toward other categories.

Shooting Challenges test your marksmanship in the Shot Contest minigames. There are two types: bow contests and gun contests, each with their own tournament structure.
Challenge | Activity | Location | How to Complete | Reward |
|---|---|---|---|---|
Silver Trigger | City of Hernand (1 Silver entry) | Win 3 consecutive gun contests, then defeat champion Wick of the High Noon. First to land 10 shots on targets wins each round. | Insight I (Critical Hit Chance Lv 1) | |
Lioncrest Manor (80 Copper entry) | Win the archery tournament. First to hit 10 randomly appearing wooden targets wins each round. | To be confirmed |
Duel challenges reset your win streak if you lose. Practice the combat timing and dodge mechanics before attempting a full streak.
Arm wrestling requires precise timing. Watch for the visual cue and press the button at the exact moment indicated for maximum force.
For the gun shot contest, increase your camera speed and camera acceleration in the options menu to maximum. This helps you compete with the AI opponents, who have extremely fast reflexes.
Card games at taverns can be a lucrative source of income if you learn the scoring system. Study the Duo and Five-Card rules before betting large amounts.
Minigame Challenges are a good change of pace from combat. Many can be completed during downtime between story quests.
