Hidden Ace is a main quest in Crimson Desert and the fourth mission of Chapter 10: Counterattack, falling under the Secret Weapon sub-chapter. Kliff boards the ATAG (All-Terrain Armored Gear) for the first time and completes a series of training exercises in a controlled testing ground adjacent to the Gorthak Ironworks. This quest serves as the ATAG tutorial, teaching players the mech's controls and combat capabilities.

Cannon | R2 / Left Trigger | Wide-area blast for clustered targets; slow reload |
EMP Discharge | L1 / Left Bumper | Disables mechanical enemies and stuns organics briefly |
Ram | Triangle / Y | Charges forward and flattens anything in the path |
The tutorial is straightforward. Each weapon system has its own training segment with on-screen prompts. The timed exercise at the end requires destroying all target dummies within 90 seconds using a combination of all four weapon types. The machine gun handles distant targets, the cannon clears groups, the EMP disables shielded dummies, and the ram crushes the final row.
The cannon has a wide blast radius but a long reload time. Use it on clustered groups, then switch to the machine gun for stragglers.
The EMP is essential against shielded targets. Without it, shielded dummies take almost no damage from other weapons.
The ram deals the highest single-hit damage. Line up multiple targets in a row before charging for maximum efficiency.
The ATAG becomes your primary offensive mount for the rest of Chapter 10 and is usable in select encounters afterward.
