The Competition Muskett is a ranged weapon in Crimson Desert. It is classified as a musket-type firearm. With an Attack Power of 14Attack Speed at Level 1, and Critical Rate at Level 1, it is one of the most well-rounded muskets available. The dual secondary bonuses give it both faster reload cycles and an improved chance to land critical hits, making it effective at sustained ranged damage.
Muskets in Crimson Desert deliver high damage per shot but require longer reload times between each firing. The Competition Muskett's Attack Speed bonus partially offsets this drawback, reducing the downtime between shots. Combined with the Critical Rate bonus, each shot has a meaningful chance of dealing increased damage.

The exact acquisition method for the Competition Muskett has not been fully documented. It is likely available through equipment merchants, enemy drops, or crafting at a Blacksmith with the appropriate firearm crafting manual. Like other firearmsit can only be wielded by Damiane.
The Competition Muskett supports 10 refinement levels and 5 Abyss Core slots. Since the weapon already has both Attack Speed and Critical Rate bonuses, players can focus their Abyss Core choices on raw damage increases, Critical Damage amplification, or elemental effects to complement the existing bonuses.

The Competition Muskett and Wells Musket share the same 14 Attack Power, but they take different approaches. The Competition Muskett balances Attack Speed and Critical Rate at Level 1 each, while the Wells Musket sacrifices Attack Speed entirely for a higher Critical Rate at Level 2. Players who want a well-rounded musket should choose the Competition Muskett; those who prioritize critical hits should look at the Wells Musket.
The Competition Muskett is best used at medium to long range where Damiane can line up shots without being pressured by melee attackers. The Attack Speed bonus shortens the reload window, letting Damiane fire more frequently than with slower muskets. The Critical Rate bonus adds a satisfying damage spike to some shots, rewarding accurate aim with occasional extra punishment. This musket pairs well with skills that enhance ranged accuracy or provide brief windows of invulnerability during the reload animation.
