Overview

The Apple is a fruit tree crop in Starsand Island, grown from an Apple Sapling. Apple trees are unlocked at the Intermediate Farmer tier and can be purchased from the Happiness Seed Shop. Once planted, apple trees take 8.5 days to mature and produce 4 apples per harvest. Unlike standard crops, fruit trees remain planted after harvesting and continue to produce fruit each cycle without replanting.

Growing Details

Apple Saplings are available for purchase during Summer and Autumn. Plant them on standard farmland with adequate watering or sprinkler coverage. After the initial growth period, the tree will continue producing apples on a regular cycle.

Uses

Apples are a versatile fruit with several applications:

• Cooking: Apples can be used in various cooking recipes at the Campfire or Gas Stove

• Jam Making: Process apples into Apple Jam at the Jam Maker

• Fruit Pulp: Apples can be processed into Fruit Pulp at the Separator, which is used for animal feed production

• Selling: Apples can be sold directly or through Bulletin Board requests for premium prices

• Gifting: Some NPCs enjoy receiving fresh fruit as gifts

• Apple trees have one of the shortest growth times among fruit trees at 8.5 days, making them a reliable income source.

• With a yield of 4 per harvest, apples provide solid returns relative to the low 450 coin sapling cost.

• Plant apple trees in Summer to ensure they reach maturity before the season ends.

• Consider processing apples into Apple Jam for higher value than selling raw fruit.

• Fruit trees do not need replanting after harvest, so the initial investment pays off over multiple cycles.
