Cleric

Add a PvP loadout example with effective-level priorities and practical skill timing.
Cleric is the primary healer. Where Chanter tops a party up between hits, Cleric is the class that keeps it alive through the hit, and it carries the cleanses and emergency buttons that a difficult fight is planned around.

Field | Detail |
|---|---|
Role | Healer |
Weapon | Mace |
Signature mechanic | Party heals within 40 meters, cleanses, resurrection and a summoned attack aura |
Party fit | The healer slot in five-player Expedition and ten-player Sanctuary content |
NCsoft's own class overview calls the Cleric a sacred healer who protects allies and mends their wounds. The class is part of the eight-class roster offered on the global service, which opened to Founder's Pack holders in paid Advance Access on September 30, 2026 ahead of the official launch on October 5, 2026.
NCsoft's Korean guidebook describes the Cleric (치유성) as a classic healer that uses a mace, keeps allies alive with a range of recovery skills, and holds the team together in a crisis.
Use Cleric Global PvE Build for the Global launch setup, including skill-point priorities, specialties, Stigmas, Daevanion routes, Arcana, equipment and the skill sequence. The later Korean and Taiwanese balance history on this page remains service-specific.
Most Cleric heals reach every party member within 40 meters. Light of Regeneration heals over 30 seconds, Healing Light picks the lowest-HP party member, Radiant Recovery heals and removes one debuff, and Absolution is a larger heal that removes up to two. Summon Resurrection brings back a fallen party member, Salvation gives the Cleric a few seconds of immunity, and Yustiel's Power raises the party's damage tolerance. Between heals the Cleric deals earth and wind damage: Debilitating Mark lowers the targets' damage, Chain of Torment lowers their damage tolerance and opens Condemnation, Bolt is a charge spell with three levels, Divine Aura places a stationary attacking aura, and Noble Aura summons one that follows the Cleric. Light of Protection is a party toggle whose damage bonus does not stack with the Chanter's Undefeated Mantra (the higher-level effect applies).
The August 12, 2026 patch on the Korean and Taiwanese build reshaped how the class scales, and it is the single change most worth understanding.
Change | Before | After |
|---|---|---|
Healing skill radius | 25 metres | 40 metres |
Base healing amounts | Baseline | Cut by roughly 20 to 50 percent depending on skill level |
Healing amplification passive | A flat base bonus | Removed, replaced with amplification that scales with attack power at 26, 30 and 34 percent across the passive's three marked levels |
The effect is that a Cleric's healing output now grows with its own gear rather than sitting at a fixed multiplier, and that healing reaches further but hits softer. The same patch strengthened the healing-received reduction debuffs carried across seven class skills while lowering that debuff's strength in the Abyss and arenas from 30 to 20 percent.
Cleric is on the side of the roster that kept and then gained team-wide synergy when the April 2026 passes stripped it from the four pure damage classes.
That changed in part on August 26, 2026, when NCsoft toned down the party synergy of Gladiator, Templar, Chanter and Cleric on the Korean and Taiwanese service; for the Cleric, Earth Punishment's attack and defense specialties now give the full bonus to the Cleric and a smaller one to party members.
In the client data every class has 12 active skills, 13 Stigma skills and 10 passives, plus Dodge and chain follow-ups that do not take a slot of their own. Stigma skills are equipped through the Stigma System and keep every specialty they have unlocked. Each skill also unlocks specialties (numbered Spec 1 to Spec 5 in patch notes) as it levels up.
The full reference, with Korean names, unlock levels, cooldowns, costs, every specialty, the chain follow-ups and the complete balance history since launch, is on Cleric Skills. The rules for skill levels, specialties and presets that apply to every class are on Skills and Specialties, and boss stagger is explained on Stagger Gauge.

Changes made on the Korean and Taiwanese service since the Chapter 1 update. Earlier passes are described above and on Classes.
Every change since the Korean launch in November 2025, including the passes before Chapter 1 and the pure fixes, is listed on Cleric Skills.
Date | Change (Korean and Taiwanese service) |
|---|---|
July 15, 2026 | Prayer of Amplification's Attack specialty rose from 5% to 10%; Bolt's fifth specialty changed from resetting its cooldown on a kill to a guaranteed Critical Hit; seven damage spells gained 5% PvE damage. |
July 22, 2026 | Condemnation gained 5% PvE damage and its cooldown reset now triggers on a critical hit; three other damage spells gained 10% PvE damage. |
July 29, 2026 | Bolt and Divine Aura gained 5% PvE damage; Condemnation lost 7%. |
August 12, 2026 | Healing rework: heal radius widened from 25 to 40 meters, base healing cut by 20 to 50% depending on level, and Healing Enhancement now scales with Attack (see above). |
August 26, 2026 | Debilitating Mark's damage-reduction specialty rose from 5% to 10%; Earth Punishment's specialties now give 10% to the Cleric and 5% to party members; Earth's Grace's critical damage went from 7.5, 12.5 and 17.5% to 15, 20 and 25%. |
September 4, 2026 | Class Care: Bolt can be cast while moving by default and gained 20% PvE damage; Prayer of Amplification's cooldown fell from 90 to 60 seconds and its specialties were reworked. |
September 9, 2026 | With its fifth specialty, Salvation's rule that invincibility cannot stack now covers the whole party instead of only the caster and the lowest-HP party member. |
September 16, 2026 | Radiant Recovery's second specialty now grants one extra consecutive cast instead of skill speed. |
October 14, 2026 | All classes: PvP damage reduced by about 30%. Assault Mark now gives up to 80% more Defense and all elemental resistances for 5 seconds, scaled by the number of targets hit (previously up to 20% more Defense), and cooldown reduction no longer applies to it. Lightning Strike Scattershot now deals Wind damage, and Noble Aura and Empyrean Lord's Grace deal Earth damage. |
Every class runs the same underlying loop: tab-targeting with active dodge and parry, skill chains that prompt a follow-up key, a Groggy stagger gauge on bosses, and Perfect Parry (plus Perfect Shield Block for Templars and Clerics), a low-chance block result that stops most of a hit's damage. Loadouts hold twelve active skills, a set of Stigma slots and ten passives, raised with skill points and Stigma Shards.
Skill names on this page are the English names used in the global client. The skill table is drawn from the global client data as of September 2026 and describes what each skill does rather than its per-level numbers, which change with skill level and with balance patches. The balance history covers the Korean and Taiwanese service, which receives changes on its own schedule; the global build can differ from it at any given time.
These are effective-level targets for one loadout example. Mastery skill points raise a skill to level 10; equipment, Arcana and the Daevanion Board supply additional levels. Keep the activation conditions and available specialty slots in the skill tables when choosing options.
Skill family | Effective level | Priority skills |
|---|---|---|
Active | 20 | Light of Regeneration; Healing Light |
Active | 16 | Lightning Strike Scattershot |
Active | 14 | Debilitating Mark; Chain of Torment; Condemnation; Radiant Recovery |
Active | 9 | Earth's Retribution |
Active | 5 | Judgment Thunder; Divine Aura; Bolt |
Passive | 20 | Healing Enhancement |
Passive | 15 | Warm Benediction; Empyrean Lords' Benediction; Empyrean Lord's Grace; Immortal Veil; Heal Block; Prayer of Concentration; Earth's Grace; Radiant Benediction |
Passive | 14 | Survival Willpower |
Selected Stigma | Effective level | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
Earth Punishment | 20 | Support Condemnation critical hits during a safe damage window. |
Yustiel's Power | 20 | Prepare party damage tolerance for incoming pressure. |
Root | 20 | Restrict an opponent's movement while the party repositions. |
Light of Protection | 20 | Maintain the party damage and tolerance toggle when its effect applies. |
Maintain Light of Regeneration, then answer large damage or removable debuffs with the appropriate manual heal. Healing Light reaches the caster and lowest-HP party member; Radiant Recovery handles party damage and cleansing. Keep those actions available rather than consuming them as part of a damage macro.
Use Chain of Torment before Condemnation and Earth Punishment when a safe damage window exists. Light of Protection is the flexible slot for Absolution or Benevolence when more cleansing or sustained healing is needed. Its damage effect does not stack with Undefeated Mantra: the higher skill level applies, with the Chanter effect taking precedence on a tie. Preserve the support action needed for the next enemy burst.
HP, MP, Block and Combat Speed support survival and responsiveness. Attack still contributes to Healing Enhancement, so assess healing output as well as the size of the HP and MP pools.
Classes for the full roster and the balance history. Combat and Skill Chains for the shared input loop. Gear and Progression for equipment. Daeva System and Daevanion Board for talents. Stigma System for the enhanceable skill layer.
