The Year One content roadmap for 007 First Light was revealed in June 2026, outlining the free post-launch content IO Interactive plans to add across the game's first year. Every item below is announced rather than released: no individual release dates have been confirmed, the studio has said the schedule may shift and assignments may be reassigned or delayed, and details may change before each update ships.

"Bawma Will Return" is the first announced post-launch story mission. Lenny Kravitz reprises Bawma, and the premise is an unexpected alliance between MI6 and Bawma, the King of Aleph, who personally requests Bond's help, returning Bond to Aleph in Mauritania. No release date has been announced.
Tactical Simulation Mode is the main vehicle for ongoing post-launch content, with new challenges and upgrades arriving regularly across the year. Announced TacSim content includes:
The Workshop, a return to the Kensington setting in London.
The Aston Martin Valhalla course set on Slovakia's mountain slopes (the Valhalla Protocol).
Off-road driving challenges in Aleph's black market in Mauritania.
A return to The Pearl resort in Vietnam, where a new enemy has taken control.
A Webb Industries investigation.
Regular additions of gadget upgrades, weapons, leaderboard challenges, enemies, cosmetics, and vehicles.
Q develops the G2 smart glasses, a new gadget added to the Q Branch gadgets loadout. The in-game gadget is based on real-world display smart glasses from Even Realities.
New Game Plus for the campaign, described as being explored to add more replayability.
A Photo Mode.
A Wishlist Milestone 5 reward.
A James Bond Day reward, described as a surprise.
Path tracing and DLSS Ray Reconstruction for PC (on GeForce RTX hardware) are slated to arrive in Summer 2026, as covered on the Glacier Engine and PC System Requirements pages.
The Nintendo Switch 2 version remains targeted for Summer 2026, a window the roadmap reconfirmed without giving a specific date.
The roadmap was announced alongside IO Interactive's report that 007 First Light had sold 2.7 million units in its first week and passed 3 million within roughly two weeks, making it the studio's fastest-selling game. See the Reception page for the full sales picture and the Day One Patch page for the post-launch patch history.
