The Nintendo Switch 2 version of 007 First Light is targeted for late Summer 2026, delayed from the May 27, 2026 launch of the other platforms to allow more optimization time. It will be a separate platform release rather than launching alongside PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S on May 27, 2026. IO Interactive has confirmed the port but has not detailed the visual settings, framerate target, or exclusive features at the time of launch.

Why a Switch 2 Version
IO Interactive has cited the Switch 2's improved horsepower as enabling a port that would not have been viable on the original Switch. The Switch 2's larger memory pool and improved GPU make a Glacier Engine build feasible at a quality level the studio considers acceptable. IO Interactive's modern Hitman trilogy did not ship on Nintendo platforms; 007 First Light's Switch 2 release is therefore IO Interactive's first first-party Nintendo release in many years.
The Summer 2026 release window was reconfirmed in the Year One content roadmap revealed in June 2026; a specific release date has still not been announced.
