Supplies Rack is an upgrade extender that snaps to a Cooking Fire. Placing it inside the base station's extender footprint unlocks the recipes gated behind this extender on the base station's own craft list. It does not craft items on its own; the base station handles all recipes.
The Supplies Rack is the voyage-provision extender on the Cooking Fire. It holds the provision-style recipe family: ship rations, dried preserves, and bulk cook batches that stack high and carry well at sea. Its Linen Fabric cost places the station after the Spinning Wheel is up, which in turn gates it behind a successful flax harvest from the Merchant: Food, from Foothills farm plots, or from a fully-stocked Seedbed for Plants.
The Supplies Rack is often the last extender most players add to the Cooking Fire because the earlier extenders (Cutting Table, Cookware Shelf) already cover most combat-relevant buff foods. If you are racing through the main story and the Foothills boss chain, the Supplies Rack can wait until after the first biome clear; the voyage-grade provisions it unlocks tend to be duration extensions and stack-size upgrades rather than raw combat stats. On the other hand, if your playstyle involves long solo voyages between islands, the Supplies Rack climbs to the top of the build queue because of the travel-food stack densities it unlocks.
Pair the Supplies Rack with voyage prep. Provisions produced here stack higher and feed a full crew over multi-day sails.
Linen Fabric is produced at the Spinning Wheel from Flax Fiber; Flax Fiber comes from farmed flax or from the Merchant: Food in x10 bulk.
Build a second Supplies Rack on a separate Cooking Fire for high-volume voyage prep; multiple bases let you parallel-craft without retapping the same queue.
Recipes unlocked by the Supplies Rack appear on the base Cooking Fire craft list. The rack itself has no separate craft menu.
Dismantling the Supplies Rack at the Disassembly Table returns the Hardwood, Rope, and Linen Fabric at 100%; relocating between camps is effectively free.
