Overview

Spicy Skewered Crab is a uncommon-tier cooked dish in Windrose. A simple spiced skewer made from crab meat. The first +5 Strength dish players typically unlock, and the staple Strength buff until Hearty Egg Broth or Spicy Breaded Kebab come online.

• Cayenne Pepper: grown from Cayenne Pepper Seeds on Coastal Jungle plots.

Buff Stacking Rule

Windrose allows exactly two active food buffs at once. Eating a third cooked dish overwrites the oldest active buff. Raw food still fills the hunger meter but grants no stat buff. See Food and Potions for the full ruleset.

Strength Dish Progression

Spicy Skewered Crab is the entry point of the Strength food line. It needs only a base Cooking Fire and two starter-island ingredients, so any new character can make it. The table shows what to upgrade into as your base improves.

Tips

• Both ingredients come from the Coastal Jungle, so one short loop of crab-catching and pepper-picking yields several skewers.

• Move up to Spicy Breaded Kebab for double the Strength once you have built a Cutting Table.

• Slot it next to a maximum-health dish such as Boiled Crab so both buff slots are active in early fights.

Spicy Skewered Crab is the earliest Uncommon Strength dish. It feeds Saber, Cutlass, and Axe melee builds in the first hours of play before Spicy Breaded Kebab (+10 Strength, Rare) comes online at a Cutting Table, and well before Epic Seasoned Crocodile Meat or Meaty Croc Kebab (+20 Strength) require Cursed Swamps materials.
