Pikeman's Boots is the Rare feet piece of the Pikeman's Armor set in Windrose. It is crafted at the Armor and Clothing Workshop after unlocking the Plans: Pikeman's Boots recipe.

Rarity: Rare
Slot: Feet
Set: Pikeman's Armor
Item Level: Base ilvl 1; scales to ilvl 11 through tier upgrades
"Infantry armor of the Spanish tercio. Favored by buccaneers of the archipelago for its ideal balance of protection and mobility, essential for hunting the local beasts."
Like all Rare and Uncommon armor, Pikeman's Boots has three crafting tiers that set its base Defense. Each tier can be upgraded several more levels at the Upgrading Station using the same recipe materials.
Item Level | Defense | Craft Tier |
|---|---|---|
1 | 100 DEF | Base tier |
6 | 200 DEF | Second tier (upgraded recipe) |
11 | 300 DEF | Third tier (top recipe) |
Requires the craft plan Plans: Pikeman's Boots to be unlocked first. The plan is unlocked through progression with the Smugglers of Port Royal faction at higher Reputation Ranks beyond the torso and legs plans that open at Rank 2.

Each tier unlocks a new workshop attachment: the Shoemaker's Bench at ilvl 6 and the Material Rack at ilvl 11. Both attach to the Armor and Clothing Workshop and require its Bonfire coverage to function.
Pikeman's Boots counts toward the Pikeman's Armor 5-piece set. Set bonuses apply globally once the stated number of pieces are equipped at the same time.
Pieces | Bonus |
|---|---|
2-piece | Increases maximum Health by 160. |
4-piece | Increases two-handed weapon Damage by 15%. |
The Boots are the feet slot of the five-piece Pikeman's Armor set, an Ingot-based set. Reaching the 4-piece bonus means wearing the Boots alongside four of the sibling pieces below. Every piece is forged from the same metal line (Copper Ingot, then Foothills Iron Ingot, then Mire Metal Ingot), so one smelting chain supplies the whole set.

Pikeman is the tank-leaning Ingot set built around survivability and two-handed weapons. The table below compares all six rare sets so you can pick a pairing; the Boots count as one piece toward whichever set bonuses you target.
Set | Material Family | 2-Piece Bonus | 4-Piece Bonus |
|---|---|---|---|
Ingots | Increases Damage Resistance by 15%. | Grants the Bulwark effect. | |
Leather | Attacks consume 20% less Stamina. | Increases one-handed weapon Damage by 15%. | |
Cloth | Improves ranged accuracy and handling. | Boosts firearm Damage. | |
Ingots | Increases maximum Health by 160. | Increases two-handed weapon Damage by 15%. | |
Cloth | Favors mobility and stamina economy. | Improves sustained damage output. | |
Leather | Aids hunting and resource gathering. | Rewards mobile, hit-and-run play. |
The 2-piece +160 maximum Health bonus pairs naturally with high-Vitality frontline builds, stacking flat HP on top of the 13 HP each Vitality point already grants.
The 4-piece +15% two-handed Damage bonus rewards Strength Halberd and Agility Greatsword builds. One-handed users gain nothing from it, so they should look at Flibustier's Attire instead.
Boots and Pikeman's Gloves sit at the bottom of the set's material cost, which makes them a sensible first two crafts when you start the set.
"All enemies should be taken seriously. Even if it's a dodo."
Boots are one of the two ilvl-scaling feet slots (along with the other sets' boots) and share material costs with the Gloves tier.
Counts as one piece toward the Pikeman's Armor 2-piece and 4-piece bonuses: pairing it with a second piece from the same set is usually the minimum to get value out of the plan.
