Major Necklace of Mastery is an Epic necklace in Windrose that grants +15 Mastery to the wearer. It is the Epic, top tier of the line. It requires a learned plan and the Epic-grade materials Tumbaga Ingot and extra Sapphire, making it an end-game accessory. Necklaces fill the neck accessory slot, so only one can be worn at a time.

Mastery increases critical-hit chance by 0.5% per point, so +15 Mastery adds 7.5% crit chance. In practical terms it benefits every weapon, because a critical hit multiplies whatever damage your main stat is already producing.

Mastery does not scale any weapon directly, but extra critical chance compounds with damage from your main stat, so it benefits every build.

Because crit chance is multiplicative with raw damage, Mastery pairs well with whichever offensive stat you are stacking, whether that is Strength, Agility, or Precision. That universality is why the Mastery line is a safe neck choice for almost any build, where a stat-specific necklace like the Necklace of Precision only helps weapons that scale with that one stat.

• Only one necklace and one ring can be equipped at a time. Pick the line that best matches the weapon you are building around.

• Mastery does not scale any weapon directly, but extra critical chance compounds with damage from your main stat, so it benefits every build.

• Every necklace in this line disassembles back into Silver Ingot × 3, regardless of tier.

• Ascending preserves Sapphire (the rare jewelry stone) and trades it for extra Gold Ingot, so if you are short on Sapphire, take the ascend path instead of crafting from scratch.

• Crafting from scratch needs Tumbaga Ingot and Sapphire, while ascending an existing Necklace of Mastery spends Gold Ingot and Silver Ingot instead. Pick the path that uses the materials you have spare.

As the Epic top tier, the Major Necklace of Mastery is the end-game neck slot for crit-focused builds. The full line scales from the Tiny Necklace of Mastery at +5 up to +15 here, so there is a usable version at every stage of the game.
