Marksman's Doublet is the Rare chest piece of the Marksman's Rig set in Windrose. It is crafted at the Armor and Clothing Workshop after unlocking the Plans: Marksman's Doublet recipe. Marksman's Rig is the game's light Cloth set, built for ranged builds that kite and reposition.

Defense

Like all Rare and Uncommon armor, Marksman's Doublet has three crafting tiers that set its base Defense. Each tier can be upgraded several more levels at the Upgrading Station using the same recipe materials.

Crafting

Requires the craft plan Plans: Marksman's Doublet to be unlocked first. The Plans: Marksman's Doublet is sold by the People of Tortuga Provisioner at Reputation Rank 2 for 200 Piastres; the Provisioner is reached by building reputation with People of Tortuga.

Each tier unlocks a new workshop attachment: the Shoemaker's Bench at ilvl 6 and the Material Rack at ilvl 11. Both attach to the Armor and Clothing Workshop and require its Bonfire coverage to function.

Set Bonuses

Marksman's Doublet counts toward the Marksman's Rig 5-piece set. Set bonuses apply globally once the stated number of pieces are equipped at the same time.

Set Pieces

Marksman's Rig is a five-slot set. Reaching Reputation Rank 2 with the People of Tortuga unlocks both the doublet and pants plans together, and the remaining plans open as your reputation climbs. Equip any two pieces for the 2-piece bonus and any four for the 4-piece ranged bonus.

Build Notes

• The 4-piece +15% Ranged Damage is the reason to wear this set, so the doublet is almost always run with three more Marksman pieces. It anchors Pistol, Musket, and Blunderbuss loadouts.

• A common ranged stack pairs the four-piece set with a Major Necklace of Precision, a Major Cutthroat Ring, and food such as Swamp Pie for extra Precision.

• As a cloth set it upgrades through Linen Fabric produced from Flax Fiber at the Spinning Wheel. The torso has the highest fabric cost in the set, so set up flax cultivation before committing to its upper tiers.

• The torso piece has the highest material cost in the set (typically 4 of the primary metal or leather for the first tier). Expect to grind that material before committing.

• Counts as one piece toward the Marksman's Rig 2-piece and 4-piece bonuses: pairing it with a second piece from the same set is usually the minimum to get value out of the plan.
