Overview

Pork is a raw meat product in Starsand Island, obtained by raising Pigs on your ranch. It is one of the four main meat types available to players, alongside Beef, Mutton, and Fowl. Pork appears in multiple cooking recipes and can also be broken down into Meat Bites at the Separator for use in dishes that call for processed meat.

How to Obtain

There are two main ways to get Pork:

• Ranching: Raise Pigs on your farm. Once fed daily, Pigs produce Pork as one of their byproducts. Pigs are unlocked at the Intermediate Rancher tier through the Rancher Trial Walkthroughs.

• Zerine's General Store: Purchase Pork from Zerine's General Store for 40 Coins per piece. This is helpful early on before you have a ranch set up.

Processing

Pork can be placed into the Separator to produce Meat Bites. Each piece of Pork yields a small number of Meat Bites within seconds. Meat Bites are a base cooking ingredient used across many recipes, so keeping a stock of processed meat is always worthwhile.

Tips

• Selling raw Pork is not profitable. Cook it into dishes first for a much higher return.

• If you need Meat Bites quickly but lack a ranch, buy Pork from Zerine's and run it through the Separator.

• Pigs also produce other useful byproducts beyond Pork, so investing in Ranching pays off in multiple ways.

• Braised Pork Belly is one of the higher-value pork dishes and provides a solid stamina buff.
