Cosmetic Store

The Cosmetic Store is the paid cosmetic shop in Soulbound: Online. It opened in the first days of September 2026, several weeks after the July 21 Early Access launch, and it is the only part of the game that takes money beyond the purchase price. It sells appearance and convenience: character cosmetics, cosmetic weapons, pets, emotes, furniture and bundles. It does not sell stats, gear, materials or progression, which is the line the studio drew when it said the game would not be pay-to-win.

Store prices are quoted in SoulBits, the game's premium currency. SoulBits are a separate thing from every earned currency in the game: Gold buys from vendors and other players, Commission Credits and Commission Medals come out of live events, and none of those three can be spent in the Cosmetic Store or converted into SoulBits. The reverse is also true, so nothing bought with SoulBits can be resold for gold.
Typical prices sit in a narrow band. A single cosmetic piece usually runs between 300 and 680 SoulBits depending on slot and rarity, with head and chest pieces at the top of that range and legs and feet pieces often lower. Pets sit around 400 to 680. Emotes are the cheapest single items at 200 to 300. Furniture runs from 100 for a small piece up to around 300. A collection bundle costs less than the sum of its parts, and bundle prices have ranged from roughly 750 for a small six-piece set to 2,550 for a large one. The store also stocks a small number of account items rather than cosmetics, including a name change.
Items are grouped into collections rather than sold as a flat list, and a collection is either rotating or permanent.
Collection Type | How It Works |
|---|---|
Rotating | A themed set with a published start and end date, usually running for one to two weeks. When the window closes the collection leaves the active store. |
Permanent | Always available and not part of the rotation. The permanent shelves are the Regular Collection of assorted cosmetics, the Emote Collection and the Furniture Collection. |
Several rotating collections run at once, on staggered windows, so the store front is never a single set. Themes have included armour sets, animal-themed sets with matching pets, and weapon-heavy sets that ship four or more weapon skins covering the sword, greatsword, hammer and staff. Rotating collections are archived rather than deleted: the studio keeps every collection that has ever been on sale in a catalogue, and the catalogue had grown past 350 items across more than 40 collections by mid-September 2026.
A snapshot of the front of the store, to show the shape of a rotation rather than to serve as a price list. All three of these are limited-window collections and will have rotated out by the time you read this.
Image | Collection | Pieces | Bundle Price |
|---|---|---|---|
| Steel Thorn | 7 | 2,550 SoulBits |
| The Goat | 10, including two pets | 1,742 SoulBits |
| Angelic | 9 | 1,850 SoulBits |
Single pieces from those collections run from 300 to 680 SoulBits depending on slot and rarity, so a bundle is consistently cheaper than assembling the same set piece by piece.
Image | Item | Slot | Price |
|---|---|---|---|
| Angelic Halo | Head | 600 SoulBits |
| Steel Thorn Greatsword | Weapon | 680 SoulBits |
The boundary matters, because the game runs three separate cosmetic tracks and only one of them takes money.
Track | Currency | Can It Be Bought | Where |
|---|---|---|---|
Cosmetic Store | SoulBits | Yes, with money | The store button in game |
Weekly commission set | Commission Credits | No, earned only | The Weekly Vendor in the Pioneers Guild |
Monthly commission set | Commission Medals | No, earned only | The Monthly Vendor in the same hall |
Commission sets and store collections do not overlap, so a set you missed in the store will not turn up as an event reward and a commission set will not appear on the store shelf. Cosmetics also drop from achievements, quests and rare world drops, and the Cosmetic Station lets you craft them, none of which involves the store at all.
Cosmetics live in their own slots, separate from your stat gear, so equipping one changes how your character looks without touching what the gear underneath is doing. That is the whole design: you can chase the strongest gear for your build and keep whatever look you want. Pets bought from the store go into the Follower slot, which is covered on Followers and Pets, and store furniture is placed in your apartment like any other furniture.
The Cosmetic Store was listed as a post-launch item on the studio's published roadmap from the start. It moved to launching in the roadmap update of September 2, 2026 and opened in the days after. The studio has separately said it is exploring a premium subscription alongside the store, without committing to one, and has repeated that nothing it sells will be pay-to-win.
Prices, collections and rotation windows describe the store as of mid-September 2026 and change every week by design. Treat every figure here as a band rather than a price list, and check the in-game store for what is actually on the shelf.
