Overview

Master Rank is the fourth and highest Trainer Rank tier in Pokemon Pokopia, reached by completing Rebuild the Huge Building in Sparkling Skylands and encountering Mewtwo. Master Rank marks the end of the main story progression and is the prerequisite for ending the game with credits.

How to Reach Master Rank

Rebuild the Huge Building

The Rebuild the Huge Building quest is the longest and most resource-intensive Important Request in the game. The huge building is the abandoned Celadon Department Store (now floating in Sparkling Skylands) that Tinkmaster supervises rebuilding. The four-floor reconstruction requires specialty Pokemon helpers, large quantities of high-tier materials (Pokemetal, Concrete, Glass, Gold Ingot), and multiple sub-quests.

Mewtwo Encounter

When the building reconstruction reaches its final phase, Mewtwo appears at the rooftop, mirroring its original appearance in the developer room of Pokemon Red and Blue's Celadon City. Defeating or befriending Mewtwo through the encounter completes the quest and triggers the promotion to Master Rank.

What Master Rank Unlocks

• Game ending: Master Rank promotion plays the ending and credits sequence.

• Postgame content access: Postgame requests and post-game content become available.

• Legendary access: Endgame Legendary encounters (Lugia, Ho-Oh via the Tidal and Clear Bells; Mew via 27 Mystery Slates) open up.

• No further rank promotions: Master is the final rank. Continued play after Master rank shifts the focus to Pokedex completion, building creativity, and Cloud Island multiplayer.

Tips

• Stockpile late-game materials before tackling Rebuild the Huge Building. Pokemetal is particularly demanding and benefits from aggressive Glowing Block farming.

• Befriend Tinkmaster as soon as you reach Sparkling Skylands. Tinkmaster's Engineer specialty speeds up large-scale construction substantially.

• The building takes multiple in-game days to complete even with all materials and helpers ready. Plan around this; do not expect to finish the rebuild in one session.

• After reaching Master Rank, focus on completing the Pokedex and unlocking the Pokedex Completion Room with the Neo Dowsing Machine.
