Great Rank is the second Trainer Rank tier in Pokemon Pokopia, reached by completing the "Yawn Up a Storm" Important Request in Withered Wasteland. Reaching Great Rank opens the area gates that lead to Bleak Beach and Rocky Ridges, expanding the playable map from one to three regions.

Great Rank requires completing the Yawn Up a Storm Important Request in Withered Wasteland. The quest involves raising the area's humidity high enough that storm clouds form and rain begins to fall. The story climax is a meeting with the Legendary Pokemon Kyogre, which then triggers the rank-up to Great Rank.
Increase Withered Wasteland's humidity. Use Water Gun on dry soil, build water sources and waterfalls, and grow plants.
Raise the area's Environment Level to maintain progress on humidity goals.
Talk to Slowpoke (Yawn specialty) to confirm humidity is at the target threshold.
Once humidity is high enough, the storm event triggers and Kyogre appears.
Complete the Kyogre encounter scene. Trainer Rank is automatically promoted to Great.
Area gates: Two green area gates open, leading to Bleak Beach and Rocky Ridges.
New regions: Bleak Beach and Rocky Ridges become fully explorable. Both areas have their own main quest lines that lead to the next rank.
Region order: There is no required order for Bleak Beach vs Rocky Ridges. Players can tackle them in any sequence.
Build a Pokemon Center in Withered Wasteland before pursuing Great Rank. The Center's services (3D Printer, healing machine, PC Shop) make the humidity-raising work easier.
Grow several plants and water them with Water Gun while quests progress; doing both passively raises Environment Level alongside humidity.
Bring Slowpoke with you so you can re-check humidity values throughout the quest.
