Fix Graveler type from Ground/Rock to Rock/Ground (verified via pokopiadex)
Graveler is a Rock/Ground-type Pokemon in Pokemon Pokopia, classified as the Rock Pokemon (Dex #160). Found in the Rocky Ridges region, Graveler teaches Ditto the Rollout transformation and carries the Crush specialty for processing materials. Graveler is a common spawn available at all times and in all weather.
Graveler lives in the Mossy Boulder habitat. Building this habitat requires a specific technique involving the powered-up Leafage move:
Item | Quantity | Notes |
|---|---|---|
Moss | 4 | Created by using Leafage near a mossy boulder after eating a Salad |
Mossy Boulder | 1 | Found naturally in Rocky Ridges |
To create moss, you must first eat a Salad to power up Leafage, then use Leafage near the mossy boulder. Without the Salad buff, Leafage will only produce regular tall grass and will not generate moss. Golem also shares the Mossy Boulder habitat.
Graveler is exclusive to Rocky Ridges, the third major area in the game. Players unlock Rocky Ridges after completing the Withered Wasteland storyline and reaching the Great Trainer Rank.
Befriending Graveler requires completing part of Machoke's quest chain in Rocky Ridges. Specifically, you must finish the following Machoke requests first:
Complete Machoke's Move Over, Boulder request.
Complete Machoke's Cut Down That Fence request.
Accept and complete Machoke's Talk to Graveler request, which directs you to the Mossy Boulder habitat.
Once you build the Mossy Boulder habitat and Graveler appears, talk to it to learn Rollout.
Graveler teaches Ditto the Rollout transformation. Rollout lets Ditto curl into a ball and roll forward at high speed, providing the fastest overland traversal in the game. When combined with a powered-up Rock Smash, Rollout can also break through destructible blocks while rolling.
Graveler has the Crush specialty. Pokemon with this specialty can process suitable materials and turn them into other items during their free time. Crush is also required as a cooking prerequisite for the Crushed-Berry Salad recipe, which calls for a Chesto Berry and a Pokemon with the Crush specialty.

Remember to eat a Salad before attempting to create moss with Leafage. This is the most common mistake when building the Mossy Boulder habitat.
Graveler's Crush specialty is valuable for both material processing and unlocking the Crushed-Berry Salad recipe.
Decorate Graveler's area with dark, stone-themed items to maximize its Comfort Level.
Rollout is the fastest way to travel between regions once you have all the gates unlocked.
