Enemies in Onimusha: Way of the Sword drop three colours of souls that the Oni Gauntlet absorbs from fallen foes. Yellow souls restore Musashi's health, red souls are currency for upgrades, and blue souls fill the Oni Power Gauge to activate the Oni Armaments.
Arrow Deflection is the precisely timed sword-swing defence Musashi uses against incoming arrows in Onimusha: Way of the Sword. A held block stops an arrow, a timed parry slices it midair, and a deflect sends it back at the archer.
The Oni Power Gauge is the dedicated meter that powers Musashi's Oni Armaments. It fills from blue souls absorbed by the Oni Gauntlet and drains in fixed chunks per armament use.

The Posture System in Onimusha: Way of the Sword is a shared stamina mechanic that governs guards, parries, and the lead-up to Break Issen.
