New Herland District is one of the four mainland districts of Hethereau in Neverness to Everness. Officially described as "the core of wealth in Hethereau, where renowned enterprises gather and elites converge," the district is a gleaming, skyscraper-packed financial hub where major corporations maintain their headquarters and the city's wealthiest magnates conduct business. It is also the birthplace of Hethereau's fiercest and most lucrative anomaly hunter market.

New Herland District was first made explorable during the Containment Test beta (July 2 to 16, 2025), alongside Miguel District. Together, these two districts expanded Hethereau's playable area to roughly 1.5 times its previous size.

Development History

New Herland District was added during the Containment Test (July 2 to 16, 2025), the game's first closed beta. It was introduced alongside Miguel District, expanding Hethereau to roughly 1.5 times its previous playable area. Prior to this expansion, only Bridge Crossing was available for exploration.

The Containment Test also introduced several new gameplay systems alongside the district expansion, including the wanted system, vehicle requisitioning, and street racing. New Herland's urban environment provided an ideal setting for these vehicle-focused mechanics, with its wide streets and highway infrastructure supporting high-speed traversal.

By the Co-Ex Test (February 6 to 20, 2026), all four mainland districts were accessible, including Unheard Shores, completing the full Hethereau map ahead of the April 29, 2026 launch.
