Selfie Spots are designated photo locations scattered throughout InZOI's three cities. These marked locations encourage Zois to take photos at scenic or notable landmarks, tying into the game's photography and social media systems. Taking a selfie at a designated spot fulfills your Zoi's recognition needs and produces shareable photos.
Each selfie spot is marked with a small camera icon in the game world. When your Zoi approaches the marker, a selfie interaction becomes available. The resulting photo captures your Zoi against the scenic backdrop of that location.
To use a selfie spot, walk your Zoi to the marked location and select the selfie interaction. Your Zoi will pull out their phone, strike a pose, and take a photo. The interaction takes a few in-game minutes and produces a photo that is saved to your Zoi's photo gallery.
Recognition boost: Taking a selfie at a designated spot provides a moderate boost to the Recognition need. This makes selfie spots a useful activity when your Zoi's recognition meter is low.
Social sharing: Photos taken at selfie spots can be posted to your Zoi's in-game social media feed, generating additional social interactions and recognition.
Group selfies: If your Zoi is with friends or a romantic partner, they can take a group selfie together. Group photos provide a small Social need boost in addition to the recognition benefit.
Repeatable: You can revisit the same selfie spot multiple times, though the recognition boost may diminish with repeated visits to the same location.
Dowon features selfie spots at major urban landmarks, including rooftop viewpoints overlooking the city skyline, traditional Korean temple grounds, bustling night market entrances, and the main subway plaza. The city's vertical architecture provides dramatic backdrops for elevated selfie locations.
Bliss Bay selfie spots are concentrated around the beach and boardwalk. Popular locations include the pier at sunset, the amusement park entrance, the surfboard rental stand, and the lifeguard tower. The warm lighting and ocean views make Bliss Bay a favorite for scenic photos.
Cahaya offers tropical selfie spots at resort viewpoints, beachfront pavilions, garden paths, and waterfront docks. Since Cahaya is a vacation destination, many of its selfie spots are designed to feel like tourist photo opportunities.
Selfie spots are separate from the full Photo Mode system. Photo Mode gives you complete camera control and can be activated anywhere, while selfie spots are specific marked locations with a quick, automated photo interaction. Think of selfie spots as a casual, gameplay-integrated version of photography, whereas Photo Mode is the creative tool for detailed composition and editing.
