Guzran is a playable character in Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave, a loud and self-directed mercenary who has walked away from more battlefields than anyone can count. His companions call him the Unkillable Guzran. He tells the stories himself, often, and at length, which is why a lot of people stop listening before they find out he can actually fight.

Guzran works as a mercenary and has survived a long run of desperate fights, which is where the nickname came from. His profile is blunt about the gap between his reputation and his manner: he inflates his exploits and his victories, so he is frequently brushed off, but some of what he claims is true and his skill is real.
His listed likes are booze, women, interesting people and green young fighters, and his listed interest is boasting. He is described as carefree, and the game seems to treat that as a mechanical fact as much as a character note.

Roster listings place him as a guaranteed recruit during the recruitment tutorial on the route led by Cai, which makes him one of the first optional units most players will pick up. Pre-launch footage backs that up: he turns up repeatedly in Cai's party alongside Tialla and Peter, including a fog-of-war jungle map where Centurio fights as a guest.

The name may come from an Urdu word of Persian origin that refers to living and to the passing of time.
