Fabio Gil Toro Álvarez is a playable character in Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave, and a missionary who arrived in Dagda from a land far from the continent. He joins Dietrich as part of House Lamine and fights with dark magic. He is the first unit recruited on the Lion route.

An Outsider in Dagda

Official character profiles introduce Fabio as a mysterious missionary of the Church of Seiros who came from a distant land, which makes him and Dietrich the two members of the cast from outside the continent. They come from the same region, but they had no acquaintance with each other before they both reached Dagda. Under House Lamine he serves alongside Esmeralda and Mikaela. Nothing further about that homeland or about his church has been published for this game, and none is written here.

Personality

Fabio is rational and, by his own habit, contemptuous. He looks down on other people and refers to them as beasts, while treating anyone he judges thoughtful with real respect regardless of their age. The list of things he enjoys is unsettling on purpose: suffering, half remembered feelings, and taking beautiful things apart.

Nintendo's profile describes him as an enigmatic missionary skilled in dark magic whose special techniques break the enemy's will to fight. Footage places him in the Diviner class, the hybrid role that carries a weapon and casts at the same time, and in the Shaman class during the inn segment of the presentation. His weapon list in one showing includes a greyed out Wooden Bow, which Diviners cannot equip at all, so the loadouts on display are demonstration builds rather than final ones. No stats have been published for him.
